„The staff were lovely with nothing too much trouble. The food was superb in an amazing dining room with proper tablecloths and napkins !
This is a wonderful 800 year old castle with no lift so, if you have walking difficulties, ask for a room on the first floor.
The public rooms are magnificent but the bedrooms, while perfectly comfortable, would benefit from being brought up to date.
Anyway, all in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we shall be sure to return. “
