The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. “

The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. They have tried to connect modernity and antique, of which I like the latter more. I visited the fitness studio, which was ok. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food and cool beer. Be prepared to meet sheep lingering outside when you walk to your car. When we were there, there were enough parking spaced."
