In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. I chose this location because 2 of her high school friends made arrangements for lunch at The Laurel Tree and we wanted some quality time together. This was the perfect spot! The house was the perfect size and we both really enjoyed the country air. The house was clean and the beds were quite comfortable.“
