"Front desk staff were curt and good at ignoring you as you stood at the counter. Their explanation of the parking garage was confusing at best. Left note and tip for extra bath towels with housekeeping...got none. The people make it feel more like the big City coldness you would expect instead of the friendliness the plain states are known for."

"The breakfast was good. The person working in the kitchen was very nice and worked very hard at making sure everything was full. Parking was cumbersome. Their parking lot was small so we had to park in another lot near by. The first room we were in the deadbolt did not work and the maintenance person came and could not fix it so we got moved to another room. The second room we got put in to was more frustrating than the first. The toilet would not flush. The front desk said maintenance said just to wiggle the handle because they wouldn’t have parts until Monday. (Keep in the the guts in the tank was held together with zip ties). Pretty sure all of those parts could be purchased at Walmart. I So we had to take the back of the tank off every time we went to the bathroom to manually flush it. (Not good). The front desk staff was very good. They were very accommodating. Unfortunately they could not move us to another room because they were full. "

"I travel often for work and wasn't previously aware of this new hotel. The Highpoint is associated with the Sanford Health/University of South Dakota Medical campus. I am always impressed by forward-thinking concepts that address needs. In this case, the hotel provides support for patient family/friends, visiting medical professionals and potential students, and business travelers looking for professional, quiet accommodations centrally located. The hotel is affordably priced with an upscale feeling in lobbies and rooms. The city views are tremendous. The highpoint is a great choice for business and personal stays."

"Relaxing and comfortable home. For November ,with cold temps, house kept warm and nice..Appreciated fenced yard .Neighborhood is a cute area of Sioux Falls, great for walks with a pet or child. Access to resturants, shopping were great.Would recommend 2 babygates for stair safety ,going down or up stairs if young toddler staying.Have family, so looking forward to returning in future."
