This charming chalet is located conveniently inside the gated Massanutten Resort. The home has a comfortable mid-century modern feel and is tastefully furnished for all of your needs. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve home-cooked meals. For our coffee lovers, we provide a Keurig machine, and a few K-pods to get you started. All linens, towels, and washcloths are included with your stay. We also provide dish and hand soap, laundry pods, and a starter set of toilet paper and paper towels. There is a propane grill on the deck and an inviting hot tub on the ground level. Private Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the house.
The living room is equipped with a large TV and an Apple TV for you to access your Hulu/Netflix/etc. accounts. TV, entertainment center with built-in electric fireplace, PlayStation, Simpsons arcade game, and boasts the same floor-to-ceiling windows. Each bathroom is equipped with luxurious towels for every guest, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. The two main floor bedrooms have queen beds and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows to take in a wooded view on waking up. The lower-level space is used as a bedroom with a twin bed, and futon if needed, and a washer and dryer, and boasts the same floor-to-ceiling windows. Blackout curtains are in every room for when you want privacy. Easily accessible parking for up to 3 cars.

The vacation rental home is located inside the gated community of Massanutten Resort. The activities within the resort include skiing, two golf courses, day spa, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, swimming pools, gym, tennis, petting zoo, horseback riding, fishing, parks and more- only a couple miles from the house. TripForth homes also include free access to the resort pool and recreation centers.

The Nut Haus vacation rental home is Minutes away from Massanutten Ski Lodge, two 18-hole golf courses, and year-round indoor/outdoor water park. Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, golfing, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, escape rooms, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, day spa, horseback riding, petting zoo, and more! Just 15 miles from downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University, explore the fantastic restaurants, museums, and shops.
The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries, and breweries. Shenandoah River access is 10-miles from the house where you can enjoy tubing or kayaking during the warmer months. Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking for any level. Don't miss the River activities such as kayaking, river tubing, and canoeing. Visit the Luray Caverns, originally called Luray Cave, is a cave just west of Luray, Virginia, United States, which has drawn many visitors since its discovery in 1878. The cavern system is generously adorned with speleothems such as columns, mud flows, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and mirrored pools.
This vacation rental home is 1 Hour and 15 minutes from Charlottesville, the University of Virginia, Michie Tavern, Civil War History, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, and over 200 wineries. The Virginia Safari Park is about an hour and 15 min away.
Please note that the two levels are separated by a spiral staircase, as pictured. This staircase has a locked gate, but PLEASE take care to keep it locked in the event you have children or pets so that they do not fall down the staircase! The outdoor deck stairs can also be used for main floor access as needed. There are three (3) security cameras on the exterior of the home.
Guest access
All parts of the house and outdoor space are available, and you will have access to the resort amenities including pool.
Please note that the passes provide access to the following Recreational Centers at no additional cost: Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club includes a fitness room, indoor pool, game room, hot tub, co-ed steam and sauna rooms. Woodstone Recreation includes a game room, indoor basketball court, racquetball courts, indoor & outdoor (seasonal) pool, and tanning bed.
Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time. Check-Out is at 10am.
There are three (3) security cameras on the exterior of the home, one at each entrance.
IMPORTANT NOTES:In order to maintain a flexible cancellation policy, guests may cancel up to 30 days prior to arrival to receive any type of refund.
