My original room stunk I thought it was cigarettes but husband later realized it’s the escalators! They need to be serviced before someone gets hurt or worse! The front desk said no other room but tub! That’s not what I signed up for and they refused to refund me! I was mad! The front desk guy did call me and tell me they had a room! Of course after I told him he can’t do that the customer is always right and the Hilton’s are my main stays! So unfortunately we stayed one night and went to Comfort Inn! Maybe someone needs to TRAIN their employees! Furthermore, everything was great after that! I will never refer or stay here again! I was born and raised here in Massillon. I am here for my parents funeral! I have enough stress and we do not appreciate rude and non compassionate or considerate people. We are used to people catering to us and treating us as we are travelers and love The Hiltons but I will not be back to this one! This is the only one in all my travels that I had ever had an issue! It sucks because this is where we grew up and I wanted to be close to my sister and niece and customer service clerk ruined it. However he did find us a non smelling room after we were getting the bags back into our truck! If your rule no refunds it should be because the customer no show or whatever! If the room stinks or anything regarding the hotel you need to own up to your responsibility!
