To the outside of the cottage there is off road parking for two cars and a patio garden with furniture and barbecue. Rosemount Coach House sits close to the banks of the River Slaney, and is a beautiful base for any family or couple.

There is a further interactive museum in the town dedicated to telling the story of the famous 1798 rising. Nowadays the town has a wealth of facilities available to visitors including a multiplex cinema, a swimming pool and leisure centre, a fantastic mixture of shops, pubs and restaurants, and a farmers' market, which is held every Saturday.
