„My room number was 105, 1st floor in Alleghany Springs. The dishwasher needed to be reattached to the wall, the 2 screws were clearly sitting on the counter above, but this was not repaired before our stay. Each time opened, the DW jarred forward, ugh! The room was clean, & adequate for the 4 of us, realizing that sofa beds are never the most comfortable. “

„Overall, a very nice room and property. We had a couple problems with electronic key access (to our room and to the front door). While inconvenient, staff always addressed the problems quickly. Make sure you read the check-in instructions and look over maps so you know where to check, etc. Overall, very nice...we will be back and stay in the Highland House.“

„Gesamtbeurteilung nur befriedigend, da einige Mängel: Wifi hat nicht funktioniert, Kaffe hat nach schwarzem Wasser geschmeckt und die Rühreier waren um acht Uhr morgens schon kalt. Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung, das Hotel an sich sieht aber schon sehr mitgenommen aus. Für eine Nacht ausreichend, könnte aber ganz einfach und ohne Kosten besser gemacht werden.“

„My wife and I live in Pennsylvania and we had never before vacation in West Virginia. Although it was a 7 Hour Dr. from our home to Marlington, we stayed in a very lovely small log cabin with solar power, and propane. The property was clean very well appointed, all linens and towels were provided for us. If I had to say one thing, I would ask they they get a slightly larger refrigerator. „Great place and very kid friendly. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but the time there was great. The only gripe is the internet is very slow. Very difficult to work remotely.
