The property is located toward the end of a private gravel road. It does get plowed in the winter, but due to the amount of snow we receive good winter tires and/or four wheel drive on your vehicle are helpful!
Other things to note

Communication: Please be advised, there is no cell service at the property. There is a land line telephone available, as well as high speed wifi that will allow you to message on your devices.

Food: There are several lovely restaurants located at Snowshoe Ski Resort, as well as in the local town. There are also two small stores that sell very basic groceries, beer, and sundries near by. However, if you have the opportunity to pack specific food items that you would like, I would highly recommend you do so as grocery options are limited compared to larger cities.
