Preiswert und gemütlich
Praktisches 'Sprungbrett' aus dem Central Valley ins Yosemite. Mariposa hat Dorf-Atmosphäre, und sowohl Hotelangestellte als auch Gäste sind 'laid-back', ausgesprochen freundlich und höflich. Alles ausser der Microwelle war tipptopp sauber. Die Receptionistin desinfizierte bei unserer Ankunft gerade die Eingangstür; unsere Decken brachte sie um 18 Uhr direkt vom Tumbler. Um diese waren wir sehr froh, denn es kühlte in der November-Nacht stark ab - umso mehr als unter der Zimmertür ein offener Spalt von etwa 2cm klaffte (den wir mit 4 der 8 Bettkissen versperrten; andere liessen einfach die Heizung laufen). Unseren Morgenkaffee konnten wir nach einem halbstündigen Stromausfall doch noch machen - Der Morgen-Receptionist entschuldigte sich sehr dafür, aber sie erleiden in diesem Dorf offenbar öfters Stromausfälle.

Netter historischer Ort nicht weit zum Yosemite Park. Frühstück mit sehr gutem Kaffee und Bagels, sogar Nutella. Leckere Burger bei "Happy Burger" 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

netter Empfang - aber sonst....
Ein Waschbecken frei im Zimmer muss man mögen, das "Bad" enthielt auf rund 3 qm nur Wanne und Toilette, das Waschbecken war vor der Tür.. Frühstück war selbst für amerikanische Verhältnisse am untersten Ende.

They have super employees are friendly and caring. Lots of gocery stores where is convenient to buy foods and only drive around 1 hours to Yosemite north entrance. Love it. If i go to Yosemite next time, will definitely on my considered list.

We had a wonderful stay here. The gal at check in was very kind and helpful, going out of her way to give recommendations for hikes in Yosemite and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The room was very spacious, well furnished, and very clean. The restaurants and shops are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast room was self service but was very well stocked and organised. The reception staff were polite and helpful. A few restaurants nearby were good places to eat e.g The 1850, The Miner's Inn and the Mexican restaurant I can't remember name.
