„Great place directly across the road from Creeper Trail/AT. The house had everything we needed and no problem getting checked in. Damascus is a great town with hiking and restaurants. The house was basically very clean except for some of the fine details - baseboards and things like that. We'd stay again in a heartbeat and recommend this cute house to anyone.“

„If you like quiet beauty, this is the place. The house, located in the southwestern part of Virgina, offers amazing views from the extremely comfortable back porch. „It was a cute clean little house. Conveniently located to downtown. The driveway was very narrow and the trees needed to be trimmed, but we also had a big truck. There was plenty of seating but no table to eat at and could use a couple bar stools. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the appliances were very nice. Check in and check out were super easy. I would stay again.“

„The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located right off the interstate which was convenient. I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if you’re looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again.“

„We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. „We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter's graduation from VCOM. We rented both Claytor Escape and Green Cape Cottage. We enjoyed the kayak, paddle boards and swimming off the dock. „The house itself was absolutely beautiful. I was awe struck when I walked in. It was clean and cool (it has 88 degrees outside). The view was beautiful from the back porch. Hubby and I sat outside well into the night just watching the water rise and fall. Hubby fly fishes and caught a few rainbow trout right outside the back door. You won't regret booking a stay. „Beautifully set-up home with lots of thoughtful touches. Most of our time was spent outdoors enjoying the river, hot tub, and the other outdoor amenities. Great for kids as the river is slow enough in parts for wading while also supporting adults in kayaks. Inside was well set-up for families with convenient sleeping arrangements for all. "POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "
