A great location and set back off the road, this is a cottage with quintessential Lakeside charm! This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage was most likely a carriage house in the late 1800's; no stairs to climb! The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two XL twin beds and there is a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The Slanty Shanty has been updated to include new, full-size kitchen appliances (smaller dishwasher) as well as a fully stocked kitchen. New mattresses on all beds, new bathroom fixtures and freshly painted everything. The mini-split unit will keep you cool in the summer and provide heat if needed. The screened-in porch sits back off the road for a private experience during quiet summer nights without the bugs; we also have an outdoor eating area with a grill. Location is great; close to 5th Avenue gate, easy walking distance to town, to the scenic walk along Lake Erie and to Erie Food Market. Maybe we are the overflow cottage you need when guests visit you at Lakeside. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee per pet. Enjoy!
