Enjoyed a lovely stay. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Perfect location for walking to shopping, food, and waterfront. Restaurant was fabulous as well.

Great place to stay!
Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast and so convenient to the waterfront restaurants and shops. Great location in a lovely town.

The stay was very good, even though a storm had come through the day before which caused the restaurant to close.

We came in the (very) off-season: right after New Years. Manteo is an incredibly charming town that we have enjoyed many times. This time, we were there Jan 1 -3 and it's prime season is summer, so a lot was shut down. We didn't care. Tranquil House Inn is in the very heart of Manteo, and we were looking for a quiet post-holiday decompression. It was wonderful for that. The people were great. It was a great get-away.
