„The room was very tired, wobbly floorboards, causing the wardrobe to rattle excessively. The bathroom again was tired, the shower was cold. Broken toilet roll holder. It was clean though. We were hardly in the room anyway, so it did what was needed. The fire alarm went off on the first night, which wasn't a nice wake up call. Luckily it was just someone vaping in their room. The staff were friendly though . I'm was about a 25 minute walk from the station there's a bus also. No 3 heworth cafe was ...

„Eigentlich eine Gaststätte mit Zimmervermietung. Mit hohem Aufwand renoviert und sehr gemütlich. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.“

„Super friendly old fashioned hotel which is very relaxing. Great helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.“

„The bar.“

„Letto comodo. Buona birra al pub con personale amichevole e simpatico“

„Good location for exploring North Yorkshire , the food in the restaurant was good value for money , I can recommend the mixed grill mezzo for 2, there was a good choice of draft beer in the bar , the room was spacious & clean but requires updating the window didn’t close, the shower rail was loose, the toilet seat did not fit correctly & 1 light fitting failed to operate , the staff were friendly & the inn was good value for money with free parking“

„Just came back after a 2-night stay. The place was easy enough to find and we didn’t struggle for parking either, location is great. However, as it is self check-in there isn’t anyone around. Everything is done via text messages and code locks. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all after the previous guests had left. I let the person at the other end of the text messages know, and we were “upgraded” to another room (slightly larger and had a bathtub instead of a shower). This  ...

„A lovely hotel, great food and a fantastic breakfast. A full English that left us feeling full! The Daily Menu mentioned "Crispy Doreen's Black Pudding" on the Grazing Meat Board. We didn't find out who Crispy Doreen is, but her Black Pudding was great! The steaks are pricey, but the rest of the menu seems reasonably priced, and the food quality was excellent. The "Wagyu" room was a good size, and well decorated with a nice deer theme. Nice overhead type shower, easy to adjust, and once ...

„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. Steak medium rare bestellt, well done erhalten(!!!). “

„Der Speisesaalbereich war stilvoll eingerichtet. Zimmer und Bad waren ok, der Zugang über Treppen und enge Gänge mit großen Koffern eine Herausforderung. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Günstigere Gebühr über das Hotel beim Parken auf öffentlichem Parkplatz (zu Fuss ca. 10 Minuten). Man ist sofort in der Fussgängerzone mit den Bars und Pubs.“
