Important disclosure: The third bedroom/game room is detached from the main house. It is accessed only from the exterior upper deck and has no interior connection to the main living area. Guests should consider this layout carefully when determining sleeping arrangements, particularly for children.

Sky High Retreat has two separate outdoor decks designed for enjoying the fresh mountain air and extraordinary scenery.

Upper Deck

The upper deck is accessible from the main house and is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, panoramic mountain views, colorful sunsets and the peaceful twilight sky.

Lower Deck & Private Hot Tub

The lower deck is accessed only by the exterior stairs located outside the main house. There is no interior access to the lower deck or hot tub.

After a day of hiking, sightseeing or skiing, unwind in the hot tub while taking in the mountain setting.

Stargazing

Located at approximately 3,350 feet with minimal light pollution, Sky High Retreat offers excellent opportunities for stargazing directly from the decks.

Pet-Friendly Maggie Valley Cabin

We welcome approved, well-behaved dogs under the following policy:

Pet fee: $55 per dog, per night
Dogs only; cats are prohibited due to allergies
Maximum of 2 dogs
Each dog must weigh under 25 pounds
All dogs must be disclosed and approved before arrival
Dogs must be crated when left unattended
Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture
Guests must clean up all pet waste indoors and outdoors

Undisclosed or unauthorized pets are considered a house-rule violation and will result in a $500 unauthorized pet fee, plus any extraordinary cleaning, sanitizing, deodorizing or replacement costs.

Service animals are not subject to pet fees. Guests traveling with a service animal should notify the host before arrival and remain responsible for any damage or extraordinary cleaning resulting from the stay.
