Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, ist in einem Bärenthema dekoriert. Dieses romantische Cottage ist mit einer Whirlpool-Badewanne ausgestattet.

Ursprünglich war das Land, in dem sich Mountain Joy befindet, das Gehöft von Maggie Setzer, nach dem Maggie Valley benannt wurde, ein besonderer Ort. Sie werden von Bergcharme, familiärer Atmosphäre und Charakter verzaubert sein. Wir bieten alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie von einem ganzjährigen Zugang und einer Abgeschiedenheit erwarten, die nur wenige bieten können.

Genießen Sie die ruhige ländliche Umgebung unserer Ferienhäuser. Wir haben Ferienhäuser mit einem, zwei oder vier Schlafzimmern, die alle mit Holzkaminen, Kabel-TV, Internet und Küchen ausgestattet sind, in denen Sie Ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zubereiten können. Draußen auf der Veranda gibt es Schaukelstühle, auf denen Sie morgens Ihren Kaffee genießen oder abends den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen genießen können. Unser verglaster Außenpool (saisonal) lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Die Mountain Joy Cottages befinden sich in zentraler Lage im Herzen des Maggie Valley, nur einen Häuserblock von der Setzer Cove Road entfernt und bieten einfachen Zugang zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region. Wir sind nur wenige Minuten vom Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway und dem Great Smoky Mountains National Park entfernt. In der Gegend finden Sie zahlreiche Kunsthandwerks-, Antiquitäten- und Geschenkeläden. In der freien Natur können Sie reiten, auf Bergbahnen in der Umgebung Golf spielen, in Bächen Forellen angeln, Wildwasser-Rafting betreiben und malerische Ausflüge unternehmen. Im Skigebiet Cataloochee können Sie mit der ganzen Familie Ski fahren und Schläuche ausleihen. Das Nachtleben umfasst alles von Jazz bis Bluegrass, Clogging oder Dinner-Unterhaltung. Unsere Cottages sind nur eine kurze Fahrt von der Great Smoky Mountain Railway, von Asheville und The Biltmore Estate, von Cherokee und dem Indianerreservat sowie von Harrahs Casino und der historischen Innenstadt von Waynesville entfernt.

Unabhängig von der Jahreszeit haben die Mountain Joy Cottages und die Great Smokies etwas ganz Besonderes zu bieten. Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

The Mountain Cottages

Beautiful place. Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch seeing the pond and ducks. This morning we saw two Elks that came right up to the back porch where we were. Enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back.
