We were very disappointed with the way we were treated by the staff. For a 4-star hotel, you expect a certain level of service, but here it felt like they didn’t care about their guests at all.
We wanted to invite our friends to the rooftop for dinner and to spend money at the hotel. The hostess there, who spoke poor English, told us that before 8:00 PM the entrance fee for non-guests was €17. However, when our friends arrived, the reception informed us the fee was actually €70. It seems the hostess had made a mistake, confusing “seventeen” with “seventy.”
At 6:30 PM on August 18th, the reception staff (including one receptionist named Daniel) refused to let our friends enter and insisted on charging €70 per person, which is far too much. I asked them to contact the hotel manager or simply allow us to confirm that we would not use the pool, but my request was denied. For a 4-star hotel, this kind of rude, inflexible service is unacceptable—especially when the error came from their own staff.
If we had known from the start that the entrance fee was €70, we would never have invited our friends to the hotel.
I cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers. The staff do not know how to treat guests, and the overall experience felt very disappointing.
The breakfast was very boring, tasteless, and cheap—not the standard you expect from a 4-star property.
The only positive point was the cleaning, which was very good.
Overall, I strongly suggest avoiding this hotel.
