Also, if you are going to travel by train from the Atocha station, you can walk directly. Perfectly connected to the Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía stops and a pleasant walk from them.

The Reina Sofía Museum is only a 4-minute walk away and the Retiro Park is 15 minutes away.

The Atocha station is a 2-minute walk away, the Arte metro station is a few minutes away on foot.
