Great apartment - ideally located for visiting Lyon. We were a family group of 10, but the apartment is so big, we kept losing each other in the beginning. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. The host is responsive and flexible. We enjoyed every moment of our stay!

Beautiful

We had a trip of a lifetime in Paris with our adult children. The apartment is just beautiful and roomy—the large living spaces and layout of bedrooms allowed us to enjoy one another and also have your own space. The location is excellent and close to metro stops which will get you wherever you need to go.

Wonderful trip to Lyon

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Lyon. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and spacious. We walked to many tourist spots and ate at delicious restaurants. The host had excellent communication. We cannot wait until we visit again. Merci!

Beautiful, spacious apartment! More than enough room for two families. Very clean and great location. The only thing I would mention is there are 5 bathrooms, but only two of them have toilets. This was not a problem for us, and everything worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay here again!

Lyon made perfect

This place is perhaps the best apartment I've ever stayed in, anywhere! High ceilings with ornate moldings and floors, yet warm, and comfortable. Balcony looking at the Soane, huge kitchen with amazing refrigerator and stove. Bedrooms for everyone, luxurious bathrooms and dining room make this unit a special place to be. It made our stay in Lyon extra special. Don't hesitate to stay here, Jaques is quick to respond and help.

Great Stay

Lovely apartment with beautiful floors. high ceilings, large windows(doors) with the living room overlooking the river. Great location on the island between rivers allowing easy access to to all of Lyon’s highlights. While the apartment was tastefully furnished, we didn’t fear our toddlers trashing the place since there was so much open space. Our host was friendly and easy going. You do need to know to search for the name Ruchon when you access the intercom to be buzzed in.

4/10 – Mangelhaft

Gut: Sauberkeit, Kommunikation und Lage
Verbesserungswürdig: Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
To start with positives, the host was polite, responsive & accommodating. He arranged early check-in, communicated throughout our stay, and the apartment was clean. Under diff circumstances, I’m sure it would be a nice place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, and we left after the first night. We arrived in Lyon during a heatwave and the apartment was not equipped to handle the extreme temperatures. Although fans were provided in each bedroom, they were old, noisy, and ineffective. At 23h, the temperature inside was still 29.5C (85F) - warmer than outside. The beds were made only with comforters & no top sheets, so we slept without covers. The kitchen was also not well suited for a large group. The only refrigerator is a small mini-fridge, despite the apartment accommodating up to 10 guests, making it hard for families or groups planning to cook. The Wi-Fi also did not reach bedrooms near the kitchen — an extender would help. Our group included three generations, from a 16-mo-old to 82 yr old grandparents. Because of the extreme indoor heat, we did not feel it was safe or comfortable to stay. The host kindly offered to let us return during cooler weather, which we appreciated. However, traveling from California, that was not a practical solution or a substitute for the partial refund we requested. Sadly, I would not recommend this apartment for families with young children, elderly, or groups wanting to cook, esp during hot weather.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment was as advertised. It’s big, clean and well equipped. Jacques was a responsive and helpful host. The apartment is centrally located and is perfect for accessing old town Lyon, the farmer’s market and other places of interest. The only con is that it was warm while we were there and needed to open the windows, the apartment is on a busy street so there was a lot of road noise. Thank you Jacques for a very nice apartment.

Better than the pictures

Just like others have mentioned, the pictures online do not do this property justice. It is amazing. Stunning views over the River Saone across to the Old Town from your balcony. The property was spotless clean and the space was amazing. Jacques the host was brilliant and very accommodating. I know its not the cheapest in the area, but it probably is the best. We have never stayed in anything like this before and we have stayed in some great places. It makes you feel like royalty! Thank you to Jacques and his team for a great unforgettable stay.
