The only issue which is symptom of old stone buildings was nowhere to plug devices in. Finally found a power board under the bed. But minor issue.“

„Stayed four nights and the staff was friendly except for the last morning during checkout. Front desk lady seemed in a bad mood. Guests shouldn't get a feeling of that. Rooms are large enough but unfortunately they do not have small fridges. Would have been nicer.
BUT : In my opinion, it is an absolute NO-GO if you cannot even open the windows (not meant to be opened if you wanted) in your room for some fresh air. “

„My room was very clean, tea and coffee facilities and lovely clean towels , the shower was hot
I only went to breakfast the once due work commitments but for a continental breakfast there was plenty , the coffee was delicious , no noise from the pub under the rooms would definitely return and recommend. “

„No pin code was given to gain entry. Had to call number on email confirmation. Listing stated parking. In fact street parking or nearby Carpark isn’t the same. As a contractor can security is paramount with van theft. So was annoyed to find out that no private parking was available. Room was clean and tidy and warm. And cleaned daily. “

„Bit of a regular here always normal business trip but ideal if your on a break local attractions Rutland water but Oakham is a nice un spoilt town. All self service but if you want a meal the hotel sits above a lovely restaurant and there are places in town to enjoy a coffee or full meal“

„A warm welcome at reception. On a very hot day it was wonderful to step into my room and find a fan on. All staff were friendly and helpful.
My room was spotless and had everything I needed. The large bed was very comfortable.
I had dinner and breakfast, both were very tasty. The dinner menu had an excellent selection of food.
Free parking close to my room was very welcome. I will definitely visit again.

„Wir waren hier zur BTCC auf dem Rockingham Speedway. Dieser war recht fix (15 Min.) zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt Nahe der Bundesstraße, aber es ist nicht laut. In Laufweite sind auch eine Tankstelle mit Supermarkt und ein ordentliches Restaurant.
Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal britisch-freundlich und das Frühstück so reichhaltig, wie es die englische Küche hergibt. Fazit, empfehlenswert.“
