This home has everything needed located on the main floor- 1 bedroom, 2 baths, fully equipped kitchen, dining, living area and laundry room. The bonus is there are 3 rooms upstairs with a bath room. Outside enjoy views of the mountains from the large front porch or relax by the fireplace in the hot tub. We also have a game room that has lots of board and card games with a Playstation 3 for the gamers in the group.

60th Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated our 60th anniversary at Woods Eye View in Luray this June. Our family came from all over the US - adults and children. We all enjoyed staying there! The house is immense, immaculately clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped with a large refrigerator, dishes, glasses and cooking items. In addition to 4 bedrooms, we made use of the game room with games for the children. The outdoor grounds had a large, well-mown, grassy area. The hot tub/spa gazebo was exciting for children and relaxing for adults. The fire pit was ready to go – we made marshmallow s’mores – Yummy!The location is ideal, 5 min from Luray Caverns and 15 min from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We highly recommend it!

It felt like being at home

The house was very clean, spacious and had everything that was needed to have a good time. The kitchen was great, nothing seemed to be lacking in the house. The front porch was a great place to relax and get together and the hot tub out back made it even better. The setting of the house a little ways outside of town was perfect. We came out to celebrate the wedding of our son, but upon leaving we thought about the idea of just coming back just for the enjoyment of being there. Thank you for having such a nice place!

Family Destination Wedding

We were in Luray for a family wedding. This is a beautiful home in a quiet and serene neighborhood yet close to downtown. Nicely decorated, clean and updated. Plenty of room to spread out. Wonderful outdoor space. Enjoyed watching the cows in the pasture across the road as we sipped on our morning coffee on the front porch. Wish we could have stayed longer! Luray Surprise

We stayed from 9/26/2924-09/28/2024. Pictures don’t do justice for this house. Fantastic modern house with well appointed rooms. All the rooms have plenty of space. Very clean, and spacious. I had my 3 children and spouses as well as 4 of my grandchildren. Love the area! Will be back! We recommend this beautiful house!

Beautiful Luray Getaway!

We had a girl's weekend at the property. The house was the most clean rental property we have ever stayed at. There were so many amenities at the house! We especially enjoyed the use of the fire pit outside, and it's proximity to the hot tub. The house is in a safe location. The bedrooms are very spacious and you can tell the house is well taken care of. Short drive to Luray and the attractions in the area like hiking and vineyards. Perfect place for a Luray Getaway!

Perfect location and property

This house was in an ideal location for visiting Luray. We were minutes from downtown and the caverns but had a lot of privacy and a great view of the mountains from the front porch! The back yard is excellent. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their property. It is well maintained and has tons of activities for children. We were most happy just playing in the yard and telling stories around the campfire. The home is clean, well kept, and well decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. Definitely would rent again!

Great house!

The house is well-sized and clean! The backyard is huge. Six adults and four children (aged 2 to 8) stayed together for a weekend get together and we did not feel cramped which was great. They have a high chair which was a nice surprise as well! We all agreed we would happily stay there again!

Near Shenandoah with all the amenities

Excellent access to Thornton gap entrance of Shenandoah national park. Easy communication and quick responses by host who is very accommodating. Supplies everything including shampoo, towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry, and enough toilet paper (unlike many places). Also, has extras such as firewood for fire pit and charcoal for grill. Pictures undersell how big the bedrooms are. Lots of space both inside and out. Great getaway place for family.
