Perfectly located between Ludington and Pentwater and directly across the street from Lake Michigan, "Freshwater Cottage" is a large cottage featuring two suites with individual kitchens and bathrooms adjoined by a large breezeway and sleeps up to 8 guests. When you book this unique cottage, with a distant view of Lake Michigan, you will have full use of the entire cottage and both suites. The suites are not rented out separately, so you will have the entire cottage to yourself. Suite One offers one bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, fully functional kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, dining area, and electric fireplace. Suite Two is a studio with a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living area and offers a fully functional kitchen, full bathroom and dining area. Additionally, each suite offers a Smart TV and WiFi.

Freshwater Cottage is set on a large private lot offering an abundance of yard space and a turnaround driveway, with plenty of parking for vehicles, RVs and boat trailers. This quiet location is perfect for enjoying outside activities while taking in the surrounding nature. Enjoy peaceful moments gathered on the covered patio while grilling your catch of the day, or beautiful northern Michigan evenings around the fire pit. On rainy afternoons, you will find the 3 seasons sunporch an ideal spot to keep you connected to the great outdoors while being out of the elements.

Freshwater Cottage is the perfect location for close water access and is next to Bortell's. It's only a 5 minute walk to Summit Park which offers a public beach on Lake Michigan, picnic area, tennis and basketball courts, and playground. You'll find this beach perfect for strolling along the picturesque lakeshore, combing for unique rocks and beach glass and taking in the gorgeous sunset. Buttersville Beach and the South Pier are also only minutes away by car with Lake Michigan Beach access for passing the time soaking up the sun.

Bass Lake Outlet is another great location and only a few minutes away by car. This outlet provides a public launch and has an outlet into Lake Michigan. Bass Lake is an all sports lake and is great for kayaking, boating and fishing.

Silver Lake and Mac Dune Rides is 20 minutes away as is golfing at Lakeside Links and dozens of more sports lakes and public access points.
