Summary:

Our loft is in Louisville's historic Central Business District & NuLu area. Local history mixes with a vibrant neighborhood known for its eclectic mix of art galleries, restos & shops. The loft is close to all amenities & major downtown Louisville spots, including the popular Whiskey Row, Museum Row, Bourbon Trail, & Louisville Slugger Field. We are directly across the University of Louisville Health Sciences Campus & a quick 12-min drive to historic Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.



The Space:

⊳ Guests will have access to the entire two-story condominium and the shared backyard.



Built in 1885, our loft has maintained its classic charm while being updated with modern amenities. While the building shows some expected cosmetic flaws from its age, the high ceilings, exposed bricks, wood beams, and original hardwood floors add to its character. Natural light pours into the space through a skylight, further enhancing the open floor plan.

Located on the second floor, one flight of stairs required for access

▻ Children under 12 should not utilize the Jockey Suite due to steep stairs and open landing with steep drop (loft)

▻ Sleeping areas are open or semi-private due to the open floor plan and industrial layout

▻ The building shows some expected cosmetic flaws due to its age (built c.1885)

▻ Expect to hear sounds typical of an industrial loft in a downtown city location

▻ No pets allowed. This is a building-wide policy. Undisclosed pets will result in a $200 penalty fee to cover professional cleaning. We appreciate your understanding.



House rules

▻ No parties or events — a $500 security deposit applies for local guest bookings

▻ Quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM

▻ No smoking

▻ Please keep noise and activity neighbor-friendly

▻ Do not unplug any connected electronics — a $100 fee may apply

▻ No unauthorized visitors or guests

▻ Guests are responsible for any damages or losses, which should be reported immediately



Policies

▻ Early check-in: We'll do our best to accommodate same-day requests, subject to our cleaning team's availability. The only guaranteed option is booking the prior night.

▻ Late check-out: Please let us know by the day before. Unapproved late check-outs may incur a $50/hour fee; check-outs at 12 PM or later will be treated as an additional night.

▻ Luggage drop: May be accommodated with prior host approval.

▻ Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of check-in. Cancellations after this window will be charged based on nights stayed.

▻ Third-party bookings: We cannot accept bookings made on behalf of someone else.

▻ Package delivery: We cannot guarantee safe or timely receipt of packages. We recommend a local pick-up location or doorstep delivery.

▻ Lost items: We can mail forgotten items back for a $50 fee (non-oversized items only).

▻ Exterior security cameras are in place above the front doors, recording 24/7 for the safety of guests and the property.
