The Hotel in Westwood is located in a safe neighbourhood not far from hotspots like Santa Monica and Hollywood. It has a very cute appearance from the outside. Pros: clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, tasty croissants for breakfast. Cons: very small rooms (difficult to find a spot to open your suitcase, the shower is only suitable for skinny people), noisy (1st floor you hear every step from the room above). Valet parking only for very expensive 42$ tax. Waterbottles in the room are 7$. Overall: Okay for a short stay, but too expensive for what you get.

Die Betreiber versuchen ein stylisches Hotel zu führen, was oberflächlich auch gut funktioniert, aber in der Praxis ist leider einiges nicht durchdacht. Folgende Dinge haben unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt: - Der Parkservice kostet pro Nacht 42$, das war vorher mit keinem Wort zu lesen. Bei einer Buchung von einer Woche sind das mal eben um die 300$ plus Steuern oben drauf, denn man hat in der Umgebung keine alternative Parkmöglichkeit. Trotz dieser Gebühr mussten wir ein Mal 35 (!) Minuten auf unser Auto warten, eher der Concierge es aus einer Tiefgarage vorgefahren hat - Das Frühstück bestand aus Kaffee, Wasser, wirklich ekelhaftem Orangensaftkonzentrat, Brot und Schmierkäse. Zum Müsli gab es nur Milch, keinen Joghurt. Die Sitzplätze sind stark begrenzt. - Man wird im Zimmer per Aufsteller darauf hingewiesen, dass man zur Umweltschonung nur Handtücher ersetzen wird, die man auf dem Boden hinterlässt. Soweit so gut. Nur leider wurden bei uns alle Handtücher ersetzt. Aber: das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

This was the second time my husband & I stayed at The Palihotel Westwood. It's a pleasant, centrally located boutique hotel with nice character. Our guest room was clean & comfortable, albeit a tad tight for two people. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable & the room was quiet. Slight negatives--our room was probably better suited for one person, & the somewhat bulky furniture doesn't help matters. The bathroom & separate sink area, while clean, could benefit from an additional towel bar. There's no iron/ironing board in the room, but the staff accommodatted us & brought one upon request. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the positives outweigh the few minor negatives. We'll certainly keep The Palihotel Westwood in mind for future visits to LA.

Cute hotel, average size rooms but manageable to move around. Run by somewhat very young people so you don’t get a professional feel but they got things done . Free coffee and then some is a good use of the amenity fee. Could you a room fragrance in the lobby and hallways. Our first few days we smelled something off…..,

Rooms had nice amenities, but were small and in general the property had a slightly dingier / less airy feel to it than what I had expected. A bit understaffed (hard to check-out as waited for several minutes to find someone). Overall, I'd say the value for the money was low. Would I stay there again? Maybe.

Nice property, very clean, but other guests could be heard clearly (and one had barking dog quite early outside our room!), but it was overall a very nice room, cozy, comfortable!

Amazing stay. Me and my mom ran the LA marathon and we stayed here. Very relaxing and homey hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Kenzy is great in the front desk. We will be back for next years marathon.
