This property is in a sketchy area, nit safe, dirty, hotel is dirty and I found out it was ran by the government from 2020 til 2022. It was homing homeless people which I have no issues with besides the fact that thisnis not how it is advertised in Expedia. There is an airport that shares the same lot with the Van nuys airport, so all you hear are planes taking off and landing. The area is not safe, especially when traveling alone. The hotel has no security and there was a stray cat wondering into the lobby because both doors were open. I was not happy at all and would give 0 stars to this hotel.

The pool was poorly maintained with barely any towels, broken or cushionless chairs and hot tub was roped off. The rooms were clean but it would be nice if they had travel size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The front desk staff are nice and attentive if needs are asked.

Overall it was good for what we needed , just a place to sleep for the night ! Super easy and simple ! Great parking , felt safe ! Was worried we might hear airplanes all night because it’s right next to van nuys airport but thankfully we didn’t hear it so that was great ! I wouldn’t advertise free breakfast, there is no breakfast spot there . Just little tiny pastries at the front desk . I believe this was the most decent hotel in the city just needs a little updo but overall great

Despite some initial hesitations fueled by other reviews, our experience at this hotel pleasantly surprised us. Opting for convenience near the airport during our flight school endeavors led us here, and we stayed for a commendable three weeks without encountering any major issues. Upon arrival, our ground floor room exceeded expectations with its spaciousness and cleanliness. Equipped with two comfortable queen-size beds, a compact worktable, and a satisfactory television, it provided a cozy retreat. While lacking a fridge and ice, these were minor inconveniences easily overlooked. The bathroom, while clean and well-kept, showcased slightly underwhelming water pressure, making temperature adjustments a tad challenging with its single tap system. However, despite this minor setback, the overall cleanliness and organization were noteworthy. Breakfast offerings, albeit simple, consisting of coffee and pastries at the reception, met acceptable standards, ensuring a decent start to the day. It's important to note that in accordance with California's legal regulations, the faint scent of marijuana lingered in the hallways. While this may not appeal to all guests, it didn't significantly detract from our overall experience. In essence, while not without its quirks, our stay at this hotel proved to be a comfortable and hassle-free experience, surpassing our initially low expectations.

The place is clean but looks old. Basic hotel for sleep. Rooms are large and comfortable. They say breakfast included but they only bring coffee, water and muffling. Bad breakfast. For me the prices is high for the hotel type, but is price is not too bad for around hotel prices.

I liked the decor large airplane in the lobby. I didnt like that they had a Starbucks in the lobby that was closed since covid. Starbucks should be back opened false advertising. The customer service was bad. They lost my paperwork and my reservation was put in the wrong date. And because of this they called my room and 12am and woke my up to go refill out the paper they had lost.

There is no restaurant .. Breakfast included should NOT be listed..It's just coffee and grocery store pastries.. Staff are working their you now what's off to keep everything as nice as possible .. But there's never more than one person at the desk so if there's an event , desk person is running back and forth.. Really have to praise the staff. they are awesome..

The restaurant used to be great .. Now they don't even have a restaurant.. Breakfast was included ,, now there's coffee and cheap rolls from Costco .. There used to be refrigerators in the rooms, now there are not .. Not even coffee makers.. 1 guy was in front of me to check in, I waited 15 minutes for him to finish, that guy walks out of the hotel towards a car I went up to check in and the receptionist tells me he's still not finished with that guy, after waiting another 5 minutes still no return of the mystery man and the receptionist wouldn't check me inn. So I left to return the rental car came back an hour later to check in.. Will not be staying here again.. It's not any cheaper than the Hilton Garden Inn..
