The property is situated in the amazing Pocono Region - this lake-front property is 4-season of funs (private water front) boasting: boating (kayak, canoe, electric or gas boats of all sorts), fishing, swimming, hot-tub! golf (7min), tennis, biking, hiking, 70-miles picturesque trails, beach island BBQ/Grill, Camalback ski/tubing (10min), Kalahari Waterpark Resort (5min), Casinos, Premium Outlet & much more!

On the outside - Huge private dock sit in the lake awaits you and families for endless fun (warmer weather). Beautiful Fire-pit on the lake for cozy family huddles (bring plenty firewood - it would be great experience!). 2 levels of giant deck overlooking gorgeous lake! Kayaks & life-jackets on shore awaits you.

Inside the property - 4 generous Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, accommodates max of 10 guests, 4 Fire places (electricity based), 8 TVs and Game room. All linens provided.

-Please note that primary renter should be at least 25 years of age or older.
-Township Registration number is 011134

Starting in May 2021, guests no longer need to checkin at HOA. Instead the trash access key card will be in a clear-box right beside the door inside - pls return before leaving for next guests. It costs $25 to remake, more importantly, inconvenience for others.

This property is on its own private water front, that has access to fishing, boating, swimming and sight-seeing on water. Guests are entirely responsibly for the safety of his/her respective parties using these facilities.

In addition, gentle reminder, HOA prohibits Firework for public safety.

****SEE HOURS OF OPERATION****Our all-purpose community center is the focal point of our amenities. This facility offers a heated indoor pool, full service grill with dining area, bar, exercise facility, game/arcade room, and locker rooms complete with saunas and showers. Outside the community center, there are additional facilities which include children’s play structure, basketball court and tennis court. The center is open year-round offering recreation activities and events and hosts Bingo.

Indoor Pool
 
The indoor pool is open Friday, Saturday and Sundays  for the residents of the Emerald Lakes Community. Members must present a valid ELA ID badge upon entrance to the Community Center to gain access.

Main Beach
 
This beach area is located on East Emerald Lake off Sage Road. You will find a groomed beach area with roped-off swimming in the lake. The facility also includes a restroom building, children’s play structure, picnic tables and boat racks with a launch area.

Nature

If you love the outdoors, this is where you want to be. Not only do we have the six lakes, but we also have plenty of wildlife and interesting plants and wildflowers. Enjoy the spring blossoms and flowers, the early summer mountain laurel blooming or the mid summer rhododendron. Our community is filled with wildlife such as deer, bear, fox, beaver and raccoons. These critters will give you plenty of great photo opportunities if you are patient.

Outdoor Pool

Located on Cedar Drive, our 2,500 square foot, 100,000 gallon pool is a popular attraction in the summer. The water is heated and guaranteed fun for the family. There is a restroom building, and picnic tables as well.

Pine Tree Island Park

This facility offers a beautiful relaxing setting. Surrounded by Pine Tree Lake, the park offers a groomed beach with roped-off swimming area, beach volleyball court, children’s play structure, restroom building, boat racks and picnic area. There is also plenty of area on the island to do some fishing.

The Emerald Lakes Association also contains other recreation amenities which include outdoor tennis courts located next to the outdoor pool. There is a basketball court and baseball field on Glade Drive next to the administration building.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EMERALD LAKES VISITORS & RENTERS ON FISHING IN EMERALD LAKES

Emerald Lakes is committed to keeping our lakes healthy and fun for our residents and visitors to fish in.

‱ Emerald Lakes is Catch and Release Only for Small mouth and Largemouth bass. You can keep sunfish, crappies, perch and catfish if you want, but please return any bass to the lake immediately. Ice fishing is limited to a total of two tip ups and one rod per person. The tip ups must be no more than twenty-five feet from where the fishermen is sitting.
‱ Everyone over the age of 16 needs to register with the ELA Office and obtain a vehicle tag (if needed) and a fishing tag when fishing on our lakes. Cost is $5.00. You must bring with you your PA Fishing License in order to register. You can obtain tags at the ELA office on 1112 Glade Drive from Monday through Saturday from to 8:00 to 4:00pm.
‱ You must wear your Emerald Lakes fishing tag at all times when fishing on our lakes.
‱ We will have Fishing Patrol members on the lakes to check for ELA fishing tags. If you do not have one, you will be asked to leave, and get a fishing tag from the Administration Office. If you fail to comply, Emerald Lakes security will be called to enforce our rules.
‱ Failure to abide by the Catch and Release or Fishing Tag requirements will result in the violator being fined $200 for each violation. All amenity privileges will be revoked until the fine/s are reconciled. Call the homeowner, landlord or Administration Office for advice.

We want you to enjoy your stay here. Take advantage of our lakes, pools, beached & our community center bar & grill. We want you to have a wonderful vacation, so you want to return again & again. Be aware that emerald lakes is both a recreational & residential community. We have a few rules that ensure both you & your neighbors have a hassle free time.

FIREWORKS- This is our most important and STRICTLY ENFORCED rule! In addition to personal safety concerns, fireworks are an extreme fire danger in our heavily wooded community. Setting off any type, anywhere at any time will result in a fine.


OPEN FIRES- Fires are considered a hazard and are STRICTLY PROHIBITED and also carry a fine.

FIREARMS- Carrying a firearm without a concealed carry permit or discharging same or other weapons is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and carries a fine.

Excessive noise: Some noise is a byproduct of parties, but laughter is on thing, shouting and extremely loud music is another. Keep your noise level reasonable wile you celebrate.


Parking on the road shoulders is NOT allowed! Vehicles MUST be in the driveway or designated parking areas.


The speed limit throughout Emerald Lakes in 25 MPH. Please obey it.
No ATV’s, snowmobiles or off-road vehicles are permitted on EL roads or property.

TRASH- All trash must be secured from bears or other animals. If you use our trash compactor, recycling is mandatory. Separate household garbage from recyclables.


AMENITY BADGES- Badges MUST be purchased and on you when using amenities and all vehicles must display association-issued identification.
CURFEW- Loitering is prohibited in common areas from dusk to dawn.


BOAT REGISTRATION – $10.00 fee
(Owner's boats were pre-registered).

CATCH & RELEASE- Bass MUST be released. PA LAW Requires fishing licenses for 16 years and older.

A life vest is REQUIRED for each and every boater and carries a stiff fine if ignored
BOATS- Boats may be powered by electric trolling motors only. Diving off boats and bridges in not allowed.

Fines for the above vary and are increased for multiple violations.

ELA doesn’t want to fine you. We want to keep you and all others safe.

Dog approved!! HUGE lake house perfect for group!

Upon arrival the house was clean and had wonderful towel art welcoming us! All the staples were fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. All rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Our dog loved running around the very large backyard. Would love to stay again!

Family vacation

The house had a beautiful view from the back deck. Overlooked water and the fall foliage was gorgeous. Plenty of room in the house for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and there were several sectionals for relaxing. House was clean and well supplied. Easy approx half hour drive to many places. We would definitely return here for future visits!

Great house with a great view!

This house was perfect for our family! Having the dock to fish was so awesome! We all caught lots of fish! The early mornings were so beautiful and peaceful by the water. On the not so great weather days, we all enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub on the back deck. Every day in the early morning and around dusk, deer came out of the woods and grazed along the grass of the yard. There was a groundhog who lived under the wood pathway to the lake and he would come out every once in a while. The backyard provided plenty of space for throwing around the football and having a fun cornhole tournament! The house was well equipped with plenty of sheets, towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen had every pot, pan and utensil you could need which was great since we like to cook all our meals during our stay. We didn't have any issues with water pressure or running out of hot water even with our large group! The location of the home was great as we could go to the community amenities within minutes. One rainy day, we went to Kalahari Indoor Water Park and that was literally 11 minutes away which was so convenient! The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for any group vacation/getaway!

Wonderful lake house vacation

Leigh, the property manager, was awesome. Anything we needed, no matter what time of day or night, he was there to take care of. We even left him a list of some minor items that needed attention after we left. He sent me pictures of the repairs before I got home from the lake. The lake house is everything you could want in a vacation getaway. The lake was beautiful, had a blast with the kayaks and enjoying sitting on the dock relaxing. The double deck is where we spent much of our time playing games, eating and enjoying our friends. Our overall stay was amazing. Everything you could possibly want In a lake house vacation.

First impression of the outside was not good....House needs power washing badly, cobwebs going into front door, deck needs to be repainted, cushions/chairs very dirty.....Overall tho, the interior was pretty clean and quite accommodating to all of our needs. I would consider recommending to others if these items were taken care of...Property manager was very responsive and nice to chat with.

All about the lake

It was all about the lake! Beautiful location! We enjoyed the kayaking and the peace. This house is ROOMIE, 10 adults and 2 kids and plenty of room to spread out. The house is tired though, kitchen and bathroom updates would make this property 5 star plus. Disposing of garbage was a pain but good communication from the owner. Water pressure was tough, one shower at a time and cant run water anywhere else at the same time. Glad we took this trip, still thinking about my morning coffee by the lake 🙂

Great location for family

We had an amazing experience at this location. Everything was perfect and amazing views. The most amazing part was how attentive the host was. We rented 4 different properties and he as the only one to call me to let me know about an issue with the pond. Not only did he let me know he offered to compensated us with passes to the pool for then inconvenience. Then during the middle of the week called me just to check and make sure everything was going well. I have rented from a number of other VRBO hosts, this was without a doubt the best host and experience to date. Highly recommend you book this property.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary Trip

My family and I had a wonderful time at David's beautiful home. The home is very spacious with five bedrooms, two living room areas, three bathrooms and a play area with a pool and hockey tables etc. to use when the weather is too cold to go out. The house is located in a quiet residential area with a beautiful view of the lake - sunrise on the lake was gorgeous! We enjoyed using the fire pit and toasting marshmallows. We would love to come back and stay at David's home when it is warm and can do all the lake activities. David was always very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. I accidently left my purse at the home and I was very appreciative that David was so quick to reach out to me so that I could pick it up easily. David - Thank you so much for helping make our Anniversary so special!!

Perfect getaway

This house was everything it was advertised. We had 2 family and there was more then enough room for everyone. We group age range was 5-66 and with Multiple seating and TV areas it was perfect for everyone. The deck was great and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. I really can not say enough about this house. Thank you for a great time

Spacious deck and a nice walkaway to the lake.

It has a private backyard and beautiful view from the deck and dock. I enjoyed the table on the deck looking at the lake. There are huge living room in first floor and second floor. But some bathroom fixture is old. All others are good condition.

Amazing location

What a great property! It was clean and perfect for my extended family of 10. Plenty of space and the owners were very helpful. We were there for 3 full days, and never had to leave the property. It was so convenient to be located right on the lake and have access to use their kayaks and our paddle boards any time we wanted. Lots of space inside including a game room and fire pit outside by the lake as well. I would definitely stay here again!!

Can't wait to stay again!!!

Stayed at this property in April, 2021 (3 nights) to bring in my husbands 40th Birthday with close friends and family. Firstly property is spacious, very comfortable and well kept. David, our host was easily available and amazingly accommodating. There are plenty of activities to do at a near by distance (10-20 min drive away), we booked ours ahead of our visit. If I had any suggestion it would be for maybe an instruction manual to be left on how to work the TVs, radios, speakers, etc. We weren't able to work any TV's all weekend, which sucked for the guys who wanted to watch some sports, Haha!! Tip for future visitors: Be sure to confirm the dates and times of the trash compactor location ahead of time. This was a slight inconvenience for us, but David was able to take care of this issue right away, Thank You!!!! All in All it was an amazing stay, great property and I will definitely be staying again. Thank You again David for your hospitality!!

Great Family Vacation!

Nice Value, Great Area

David was so lovely during the stay! He was fully accessible and helped us out many times throughout the weekend. The house looks a little bit different in person. A lot of the blinds were broken and the place was dusty in areas. There could be renovations done here and there like with the shower doors, but it was nice overall. Of note, the double beds are too small to fit two adults so be conscious of that. The best parts of the home are the game room and the backyard leading to the lake. The kitchen is also well equipped and the sounds system is awesome. If you're looking for an affordable, spacious place and upgraded amenities/finishes don't really matter to you, this is the place to book. The property manager is so kind and the area is close to everything.

Family winter vacay

This was my first Vrbo experience and absolutely loved it. The pictures really don't do this property justice. Though it's cold an couldn't enjoy the lake view is amazing. The space is very accommodating for large groups we were a party of eight with plenty of room to spread out and still find those nice quiet corners. David was a gracious host very attentive and goes beyond. He dropped 2 firesticks off during our stay as streaming was an issue for last guest. Communication was great . My family already wants to book a future stay. Will not disappoint.

Amazing stay for large group

This was my first time doing Vrbo and this property was just amazing. The host is very courteous and available when needed. The property itself sits right on the lake and very close to camelback mountain and all other activities. The property is clean, updated, with a beautiful sound system in the living room, upstairs living and master bedroom. I can't help to say that the property is very comfortable and has everything you need. I definitely plan on staying at this very property if I ever plan on coming back to the Poconos.

Even better than expected

We planned this trip to take the kids snow tubing. The house is even better than the pictures portray - perfectly set up for multiple families with kids to stay comfortably. The second level “hang out” was perfect for the kids while the (6) adults hung out in the kitchen/breakfast area. The game room was a hit for all of us. So much fun playing air hockey and football with the kids! The view is so beautiful, and there is plenty of space in the backyard to play. We found some footprints in the snow and had fun attempting to identify them. Later, we saw a coyote running across the frozen lake and confirmed our identification! We also saw a couple of rabbits and a buck. And, David is hands-down a 5-star owner. He was responsive and genuinely excited for our stay. He has gone the extra mile to ensure the house is well-stocked with essentials (hand soaps, dish soaps, laundry detergent, pantry and kitchen items, linens, extra blankets, you name it), so that your stay is truly enjoyable. We are already planning our next trip - we will absolutely be back!
