I stayed at WorldMark Long Beach and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
Check-in was poorly handled. I was told my room wasn’t ready and that I would be contacted when it was. After waiting about an hour and checking back multiple times, I was eventually told the room had already been ready, but no one ever notified me. This caused an unnecessary delay of about 1.5 hours.
When we finally got into the room, it was not clean. There was hair, dirt, and stains on the sheets and pillows. We had to request new sheets late that night, and even after they were changed, there were still small black stains present. Multiple surfaces, including doors, were also visibly dirty.
There were additional maintenance issues as well. The heater made a loud tapping noise late at night, the lights flicker when using the fan switch, and the grill on the porch was not clean.
The check-in process was also confusing, as wristbands were handed out with no explanation or information provided.
A staff member also mentioned there are mold-related issues on the exterior of the property, which added to concerns about overall maintenance.
Overall, between the delayed check-in, lack of communication, cleanliness problems, and maintenance issues, this stay did not meet expectations. I would not stay here again
