Die Unterkunft ist einfach zu finden und auch der kontaktlose Check in hat funktioniert. Die Apartments sind leider sehr klein und eng. Wir hatten nur 2x Handgepäckskoffer und zum auspacken bzw verstauen war fast kein Platz. Positiv ist das saubere Bad und die kleine Küchenzeile mit Kaffeemaschine und Mikrowelle.

I think this is great accommodation in a great area. The communication from hosts was clear and the building was in pristine condition. The bedding and linen crisp and clean. The amenities like a small fridge and a hot plate and coffee maker were all nice to have. And location was ideal. That said the flat I was in (small studio with double bed) was so tiny I could not open my suitcase. It was fine as it was just me. But no way could 2 people be in the space comfortably. Also, there is no ac and I was on the top floor. The window could only open a crack before it hit stoppers and the ceiling fan did not help much. So would I stay again? Absolutely. But only in fall winter or spring. Summer is just way too hot and uncomfortable.

Check in instructions are misleading. Got the code for the front door, entered the code, intercom said "door opened", but in reality it was still locked (upper lock)! Turned out that lock required a flat key, but to get the flat key you also need to enter through the front door! Ridiculous. Luckily another tenant (who already checked in and had a key) came after 10 minutes and opened the door for me, so I could enter and get my own flat key... What if I arrived very late at night - what would I do? Too risky to book such flats, beware. If you arrive late at night - better book a hotel. As far as the flat is concerned, lets talk about positives: 1. Good location, quiet area, close to the underground. 2. Everything is new and clean. 3. Tea bags, cups, kettle, nesspresso machine, coffee pods - very nice touch, loved it. Negatives: 1. Shambolic switches / electric wiring. You turn on bed lamps - ceiling fan turns on (why?). You turn on ceiling lights - bed lamps turn off. Very random stuff, purely guessing game. Ceiling fan kept turning on even after I turned it off couple of times. What a bizarre situation. 2. Narrow bed (140 cm wide). Not ideal if you are a couple (even if you are very slim / short people). Pillows are too thick, not really comfortable. Overall, just OK for 1 night and very slim / short people (and as long as the landlord sorts out the entrance door).

Hot, stuffy and cramped basement room
The basement apartment is very small and with only a sash window opening on to a back courtyard, it didn't feel safe to leave this open at night and without any other ventilation or air conditioning, the room was extremely hot and stuffy. Check in was complicated and the key had not been left in the box where it should be by housekeeping. Noise levels from other residents in the building were also disturbing at night.

Mixed review. The building location was great. The room was smallish but that was well advertised. The amenities were there but all did NOT work. Most notably was the ceiling fan. Small rooms on hot London days and nights without proper ventilation is rough. Management did NOT fix during my stay but instead offered a small (maybe 4-5 inch) table top fan that was grossly inadequate to cool the room. Ultimately, I ended up buying a larger fan so I could cool enough to sleep. It's unfortunate but it did take away from the experience and management should have had several standing fans to accommodate guests in instances when fan failure occurs. Thus the mixed view. If the ceiling fan had worked, my review would have been close to perfect.

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ved Portobello Road. Pæn, ny og moderne lejlighed. Nemt at tjekke ind og ud. Vi har boet her to gange nu, og har været glade for det, men man skal vide, at værelserne er meget små. Især føles sengen meget lille til to personer, med mindre man vil ligge i ske. Vi har begge gange boet øverst og der er mange trapper + der er virkelig varmt øverst oppe. Loftventilatoren virkede kun sporadisk, men der stod heldigvis en gulvmodel i skabet, så det var ok i hedebølgen. Dejligt at der er både køleskab og fryser.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. I very much enjoyed my stay there, the only drawback was that the wifi was not consistent - I only had to work from the apartment for 3 hours and wasn't able to connect that whole time (though later when I was relaxing, Netflix didn't seem to be an issue).

HOT room even in Springtime.
The apartment was very cute and certainly sufficient for a month long stay. BUT I would never stay here again and in fact had to check out early. The room was HOT and I mean HOT. Temps were only in the 70s at the most and the little ceiling fan did nothing to move air and cool off the room. It was hard to sleep. We left the window open but the blind kept breaking and so we Couldn’t pull it up to get better air into the room at night. The room smelled like someone had left an onion in it and was almost nauseating when you opened it each time. Mgmt was told and did nothing. Mind you it was a small refrigerator that could have been replaced for the cost of one night in the room and they did nothing. In fact when told they acted like I was crazy. My sister was with me a couple nights and my daughter for a few and they both agreed that the stench when you opened the door was awful. The location was wonderful even with all the construction. Beware though - NO LIFTS - we were on the 3rd floor It’s a lot of stairs to haul Luggage.

Be prepared: very small space. I actually couldn't open my suitcase all the way unless I put it on the bed. The building itself is very modern, and the flat feels brand new. I was lucky enough to get a first floor flat with a balcony. But I actually don't like how they don't let you know or let you choose what type of flat / floor you'll be on when booking. You could end up on lower ground, no balcony, or 2nd floor +. There will be street noise, but I used fans overnight, and it was fine. It was fine for a week, if you don't plan to cook or need a lot of space.

Great location hi spec well finished. I had split level studio with roof garden which was well designed and comfortable. Be careful if you don’t like stairs as I was at the top of the building 4/5 floors - no lift plus the internal stairs to the kitchen are very steep - more ladder like. I would stay again but ensure I took a lower level floor room.

Small yet cozy
I needed somewhere close to Portobello Rd, safe, warm, clean, with a good shower and a firm bed. 1. Locality: Top marks for its proximity to Portobello Rd and Notting Hill Gate. Rrally lovrly neighbourhood . 2. Safety: Someone kept resetting my key lock number so clearly was looking for the key which didnt make me feel very safe. There are cameras in the corridor so i wasn't worried. Hopefully, they work... 3. Warmth: Very warm and cozy in the apartment and corridors. Very happy with this. It creates a lovely welcome home. 4. Bathroom: Very clean and the shower was delightful. No complaints 5. Bed: Not very firm so i didn't sleep too well unfortunately. The refrigerator was loud and woke me up a few times a night. I could also hear noise from the neighbouring apartments. Bedside tables would have been nice. The small studio is indeed small. I didn't cook there as it is literally like cooking in a bedroom.
