Very nicely appointed

Very good overall. Excellent for a couple. I just wish I realized it was below street level. Very challenging with large bags if you're on a long trip. Quite tastefully decorated. Strong point - the owner is very good with communications. Great location - nice & quiet and convenient.

Great location and stay

The location can't be beat. Immediate access to museums, shopping and transportation but on a quiet cut de sac. Excellent communication with Arie, the property manager. If having a washer/dryer is important to you, please note that the units are not actually in the flat.

It’s down stairs

The place was mostly good, but a few things stood out. The stairs down to the apartment are very narrow. The laundry is across an outside little walkway. The drawer for utensils was very dirty. The shower was nice and big, with the towel heater being nice to have along with radiant heat. The location is good, close to stores and the bus stop. There were limited supplies but overall it was ok.

Amazing service and wonderful apartment

We arrived to the apartment and we're met by the manager Matt, who was promptly on time and extremely welcoming. The apartment itself is very beautiful and surprisingly light given it being lower ground floor. Very quiet with not a sound of traffic....Each room is beautifully decorated, modern, newly refurbished with every appliance and need taken into account. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely stay here again especially given the plus its in the heart of Knightsbridge/South kensington. 10 out of 10!!!

Five starts don't do this flat justice!

This apartment in the Knightsbridge-Kensington area of London is magnificant in every respect. Matt, the owner, is attentive to all needs, and even brought us some items we had requested! The interior decorating is modern and aesthetically pleasing. The apartment is lightfilled and extremely quiet. Overall we found the apartment of be a wonderful and peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. Located between Buckingham and Kensington Palaces, it is close to both the Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube stations (Piccadilly and Circle lines), and so convenient to just about everything in London. Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Park are within a few minutes walking distance, as are grocery stores, a convenience store, pastery shops, numerous restaurants (many ethnic--we love the two Lebanese ones on Beauchamp St.--but also numerous pubs), and shopping (Harrod's is a 5-minute walk away). The theater district, the Thames, other shopping districts, and other museums and sites (Westminster, St. Paul's, the British Museum, etc.) can be reached quickly by the tube. Several museums are within walking distance (e.g., the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum). On some days we skipped the tube and walked 5-7 miles a day because the weather was so nice while we were there (gorgeous blue and sunny skies!) Moreover the apartment can be reached by tube on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Knightsbridge (there are a few steps to navigate once at the Knightsbridge station, though; we managed coming and going even with our carry-ons and our two larger pieces of luggage). From the Knightsbridge Station, the flat is a 5-10 minute walk, which we found manageable with luggage. Best of all Matt is available at all times via email to take care of anything that needs attention, and he is very considerate of his guests. We plan on a return visit and on recommending this flat to our friends. Thank you, Matt!!!

Beautiful flat in an amazing neighborhood

The flat is conveniently located near South Kensington Station or Knightsbridge, it is close to most of the major attractions, supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries and stores. Harrods is 5 minutes walk. The flat was very clean, nicely decorated, homely feeling. The communication with Matt couldn't be any easier. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect pied a terre near Hyde Park and Harrod's

This flat is perfect for location, design, privacy and amenities. There is a high taste level in the decor, and the kitchen area and bathroom are beautifully done. The bathroom has a radiant heated floor, which is a very nice perk for those middle-of-the-night bathroom runs! In addition to the apartment's interior, there is a lovely, though small, garden off the bedroom. This place provides remarkable value for the price as well.

We just returned from spending a week in this property. Matt welcomed me when I arrived early on a Sunday morning and showed me around. The flat was clean, well decorated and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring London or sightseeing outside the city. Beautiful tastefully decorated with quality furniture. Superb modern detailing. A truly luxury location among beautiful 5 story homes around a private garden. No traffic but convenient to Brompton Road. As an architect I was blown way. Matt was so nice and immediately seemed like an old friend.

Perfect for us

Lovely, clean apartment on a quiet street. Near S Kensington tube, V&A, Buckingham palace. We had a 5 day stay, so kitchen was great for breakfast meals. Lovely restaurant Daquise near the tube. Comfortable bed, great shower and living area. Highly recommend.
