„We brough 5 kids and 2 dogs to the Hickory House and had a fabulous time! The home is perfect, exactly what you need for a stay. We were sampling as many BBQ places as we could. Great walking distance to downtown Lockhart. Short drive to places that are too far to walk in the summer. Owners were fabulous. Very easy check in and check out. No onerous requirements for checking out. We will look forward to doing it again. “

The host pays attention to the details....with little extras like a big dog water bowl and bags for easy pick up after your furry family. Place is kept up well. We caught too many fish to count even though it rained a lot! We were super excited to find a kayak there too, bonus!
