Cal París: cottage with pool and jacuzzi

Cal París is a traditional Catalan farmhouse with over seven centuries of history, where tradition and comfort come together to offer a unique group experience.

The house is part of the old medieval walls of La Donzell de Urgell, a small, peaceful village located a few kilometers from Agramunt, known as the Catalan capital of turrón (nougat) and stone-ground chocolate. It's the perfect setting to disconnect, gather with family or friends, and enjoy tranquility in complete privacy.

The Space
The house can accommodate up to 15 people (13 adults + 2 extra beds) and the rooms are divided as follows:
• 2 living rooms: both with fireplaces, sofas, and flat-screen TVs.
• Large dining room with a spacious table, ideal for meals and leisurely conversations.
• Fully equipped open-plan kitchen: oven, refrigerator, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, Italian coffee maker, and complete kitchenware.
• Reading room with comfortable seating for relaxing.
• Games room: In the former stables, now converted into a games room with billiards and foosball, history and fun come together. Original farm implements and elements from the old wine cellar have been preserved, evoking the agricultural past of this house.
• 6 bedrooms: Distributed with 5 double beds and 3 single beds. Up to 2 additional beds can be added. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
• 3 full bathrooms (one with a bathtub).
The third floor houses a spacious suite with a private bathroom, divided into two interconnected areas. Each area has a double bed, offering a versatile space ideal for families or groups traveling together.

The house also features Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay year-round.

PRIVATE OUTDOOR AREA (separate from the house)
Just across a small, quiet street from the house is the private 500 m² property with a garden, swimming pool (10x5 meters), jacuzzi, porch with barbecue, and a bathroom. The porch is equipped with a refrigerator and complete kitchenware, as well as a gas paella kit, perfect for outdoor group meals.
From the pool, you can admire the beautiful views of the Pyrenees, relax at night in the jacuzzi under the starry sky, or share a barbecue on the porch. A unique spot to disconnect and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the landscape.

Near the house, you'll also find opportunities for all kinds of water sports (rafting, canyoning, kayaking) and land activities (hunting, mountain biking, climbing, trekking, hiking, golf, horseback riding).

Services and common areas
ENTIRE PROPERTY RENTAL. The entire house is rented: neither the house nor the pool are shared with other guests.

The outdoor pool and jacuzzi are open from Easter until the end of October.

- The Ivars de Urgell pond. The largest pond in Catalonia. Its vegetation has facilitated the natural colonization of fauna, including species such as the otter. It is a prime spot for birdwatching.
- The castle route. The Urgell region boasts a large number of fortifications that constitute an interesting monumental heritage, such as the castles of Montclar, Verdú, Maldà, Ciutadilla, and Guimerà.
- The Romanesque architecture of the area. Urgell has a valuable Romanesque heritage, many of whose churches are considered Cultural Assets of National Interest.
- The Almenara Pillar. This is a round watchtower dating from the 11th-12th centuries.
- The Turrón and Chocolate Museum in Agramunt. Turrón Vicenç, Roig, and Félix.
- The Costers del Sió Winery. Located in a privileged setting. A visit with wine tasting included is available.
- Mu Gorge (Camarasa Reservoir). The landscape is of karst origin. Ideal for a hike among rocks, mountains, and spectacular canyons.
- Aigüestortes National Park. Catalonia's only national park. Rivers, ravines, waterfalls, and more than 200 ponds. Great diversity of flora and fauna.

The natural environment surrounding the town allows for activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, mushroom picking, climbing, canyoning, rafting, canoeing, gastronomic tours, and wine tourism.
