„Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff.

„Very plain room staff are excellent. Breakfast was perfect. Dining room could be better.“

„Perfect stay! The hosts, John & Nigel were so welcoming. Property was clean and comfortable for our family of four. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection for the whole family. Great view too!“

„Very new, lovely hosts absolutely dog friendly, our dog had his own breakfast everyday! It is rural, so sometimes internet glitches, but we were there over a stormy weekend and the electric substation across the road blew up. Power was back on very quickly.“

„Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit.“

„The cottage was adorable, well equipped and in a beautiful rural setting. The host was wonderfully helpful and friendly.“
