„Die Lage des New Inn ist sehr schön, in einem Tal , umgeben von Bergen, das Essen und trinken sowie die Leute hinter dem Tresen in dem urigen Pub war echt gut.

Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. „Very disappointed with this stay. arrived at hideaway to find no Not Water in the property - contacted the host to just be sent messages on how to use a basic thermostat on a shower and basically called me a liar.

We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house.
Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time “

„From when we arrived to when we left Nic and Wendy were very attentive. The B&B is lovely and clean, the rooms are decorated beautifully with plenty of facilities. A fantastic breakfast awaits you in the morning. Lots of choice and a tasty full English. Definitely come back and recommend. “

Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. "We and our dog felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The location of the holiday village is stunningly beautiful. From here, we were able to enjoy some wonderful activities, like hiking, biking or canyoning (by car) . There's also a bus stop nearby, so there are bus connections as well. We were satisfied with the amenities in the holiday home. There was plenty of space for three people. We especially liked the enclosed patio. "
"Unser Aufenthalt im Vierbettzimmer war leider von einigen Mängeln geprägt. Die Einrichtung wirkte sehr spartanisch und einfach gehalten, was wohl dem typischen Standard in Großbritannien entsprechen mag. Die separaten Hähne für kaltes und heißes Wasser im Waschbecken erwiesen sich als etwas unpraktisch.
Das größte Problem stellte jedoch die Schlafqualität dar. Die Matratzen waren in einem desolaten Zustand. Jede einzelne Feder war spürbar, und das Drehen im Bett verursachte laute Geräusche. Besonders unzumutbar war eines der Betten, das sich tatsächlich als uraltes Reisebett entpuppte und mit seiner Länge von lediglich 1,80 Metern für eine Person mit 1,90 Metern Körpergröße völlig ungeeignet war. Auch die anderen Matratzen waren sehr alt und schienen abgenutzt. Zudem knarrte der Boden bei jedem Schritt so laut, dass man befürchten musste, die anderen im Zimmer aufzuwecken.
Ein Hotel sollte unserer Meinung nach bei einem Vierbettzimmer auch durchgehend vollwertige Betten anbieten. Die Qualität der Matratzen ist ein entscheidendes Aushängeschild für jedes Hotel und so schlecht haben wir selten geschlafen.
Positiv hervorzuheben ist glücklicherweise das Frühstück, das uns positiv überrascht hat."

"The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. The small village has 1 or 2 dinner possibilities around the market place and is charming - at least the center is. The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. They have tried to connect modernity and antique, of which I like the latter more. I visited the fitness studio, which was ok. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food and cool beer. Be prepared to meet sheep lingering outside when you walk to your car. When we were there, there were enough parking spaced."
