Nr. 325 „Sands to Reason“ ist eine Kaminsuite für fünf Personen mit 55-Zoll-Fernseher. Diese geräumige Wohnung verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, zwei Bäder, ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit einem weiteren Queensize-Bett und einen Liebessitz im Wohnbereich, der in ein Doppelbett verwandelt werden kann. Diese Wohnung am südlichen Ende des Gebäudes bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf den Strand und den Fluss D. Es wurde im März 2014 von Kopf bis Fuß erneuert und umfasste neue Möbel, Farben und Dekor.

Nice place to stay

I booked this property to be local as my grandson visited his mother and older brother for 2 weeks. It turned out to be great location-wise as I was less than 5 minutes away. I had grandson and his friends over for pool and beach time and we all had a great time. I ended up sleeping in front bed (living room) to get breezes from beach. Between the breeze and fans provided it was quite pleasant. The view was magnificent! Having 2 bathrooms was great especially when the kids visited. There were 2 minor maintenance issues that the property manager immediately addressed. All members of staff were polite and thorough. The internet was a bit glitchy losing connectivity frequently. The kitchen was well stocked and very functional. I loved having ice cube trays instead of having to rely on ice machine in common area. One improvement is addition of dressers to put clothes away. For short term stays I imagine people will be happy living out of suitcase. Not so much for me though as my stay was longer. I look forward to future visits!

It was very relaxing! There was a cable problem on our first night which I was informed when we were driving to the destination, so we couldn’t use the TV. There is a dvd player but no dvds. If I had known this, I would have brought some dvds from home, just fyi for future guests. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I found out that at 61 years old I will no longer be carrying a nice chest up three flights of stairs this property is very nice there are very few minor problems that's to be expected.

Nice and roomy

Enjoyed our annual mother daughter trip to Lincoln City for Antique Week. Rooms were well appointed and had nice options for sleeping arrangements. The bar in the kitchen allowed room to spread out food and snacks. Coffee pot was clean as well as the counters, appliances, and bathrooms. Cozy rooms, beautiful unheated electric fireplace and surround, and the view from the 3rd floor was wonderful. Enjoyed watching the gulls bathing in the D river and the sanderlings or sandpipers that came out and chased the waves under the floodlight that lit up the waves at night. Extra sheets and blankets were appreciated and used though wonder if previous guests put blankets back without leaving them out to be washed. Batteries in the two clocks in the living room were dead but we just used the clock on the microwave as it wasn't a big deal. The previous guests left the utensils and dishes a little greasy but that's why I always wash dishes before I use them no matter where I go and is no reflection on the hosts. New wi-fi was still a bit spotty but have found this to be true all along the shoreline, just a heads up if you need something steady. Was able to stream music pretty regularly but some websites had trouble loading. Overall, had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend, thank you!

Awesome stay in Lincoln City!

This was our second stay at the Sea Gypsy, but our first at Sands to Reason. We were really happy with the Sands to Reason unit, everything was clean and neat. The view is unbeatable and really helps you maximize your appreciation of staying at the ocean. The huge windows are perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. We'll be back!

Great location right on beach!

Great views from upper floors! Bottom floor has chain link fence view, but still full ocean view. Front desk staff very helpful. Furnishings a little outdated, but great accommodation for the price on day it was booked (nothing else available at price point on the entire coast). Would definitely stay again!

Great location

The good: This property was in a great location, right on the beach. The room was large, bigger than a hotel, with two bathrooms. The room has several kitchen items for use if you don't want to eat out each meal. Needs attention: Many of the outlets in the room were broken. We had to unplug lights to have enough outlets to charge phone/devices. The pullout/couch needs attention. There were stains on all areas. The slats on the pullout were broken/detached and the pullout didn't line up with the rest of the couch so we had to put the mattress on a sheet on the floor. The double door situation between the main room and the bedroom isn't ideal. I get why it is there but the location where the three doors meet causes the doors to hit each other. Overall: The pros of this room definitely outweigh the cons. The cons could be fixed by a day of maintenance, outside of a normal cleaning.

Decent Place but Need Some Attention to Detail

The location of this condo is amazing and right on the beach. The listing is accurate and the pictures fairly represent what you are renting. The curtains in both rooms need replacing. The curtains in the bedroom are broken and don’t close all the way, while the metal rings on the curtains & the curtain rod on the main room are very rusted. Although guests are responsible for washing dishes, the staff should check them periodically to see if they are clean. A number of dishes we pulled out needed rewashing.

A cute little room

This was a great property. So close to the beach and the tide pools. It had all the amenities that we needed. My only 2 comments (not complaints, as we were very happy with our stay), are: 1) We specifically booked this particular room because it had a fireplace. However, when we got there, the fireplace was disable to not put out heat, and it was for ambience only. I understand the premise for it, but it would have been nice if we were told that ahead of time, I may have selected a different room. 2) The room was decorated in a very homey way...lots of pictures and knickknacks. While that makes it feel a lot more comfortable, it was not cleaned well, so it was very dusty.
