Die Anlage liegt sehr einsam am Strand - was sehr schön ist. Sie ist allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Lampen waren defekt, statt hotelstuhl stand ein alter Bürostuhl im Zimmer und nachdem wir dann noch eine Maus unter dem Bett entdeckt haben, sind wir in ein anderes Zimmer umgezogen. Angezeigte Mängel wurde immer sofort behoben. Wen solche Kleinigkeiten nicht so sehr stören, der ist in der ansonsten sehr schönen, ruhigen Standlage des Resorts gut aufgehoben.

Der Preis ist mit ca. $ 400 pro Nacht für die Ausstattung der Zimmer viel zu hoch. Für diesen Preis erwartet man Luxus, das war es nicht. Die Hotel-Anlage ist sehr schön und sehr gepflegt, die Pools sind toll angelegt, aber eben alles auch in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Auto wird dringend benötigt, da das Hotel ca. 3-4 Meilen entfernt von den nächsten Orten liegt. Parkgebühren am Hotel $ 30 pro Nacht.

Tolle Anlage, leider mit wenig Herz
Das Hotel ist an und für sich sehr schön und die Anlage ist toll. Leider ist der Service für dieses Hotel klar ungenügend. Wir erhielten als Gold-Member das schlechteste Zimmer direkt über dem Empfang des Hotels (Autolärm/Ein- und Ausladen). Faktisch ein Downgrade und keiner der VIP-Services wurde offeriert. Zimmerreinigung selten so lieblos und spät erlebt (Pijamas am Boden). Am Pool sind auch viele Mitarbeiter völlig unmotiviert und hängen als Rutschwache lieber am Handy. Gebühren für Ressort und Parkplatz frech.

Hotel mit Renovierungsbedarf
Eigentlich eine sehr schöne Anlage. Erster Eindruck war super. Man hat uns sogar ein Upgrade mit Meerblick geben wollen, allerdings im Standardzimmer. Diese Zimmer sind aber extrem in die Jahre gekommen, so dass wir das Angebot ablehnten. Wir hatten ein Deluxzimmer gebucht. Dieses haben wir dann auch mit seitlichem Meerblick bekommen. Soweit alles super. Leider war das Zimmer aber sehr klamm (feucht). Insbesondere der Teppichboden und das Bett. Zunächst dachten wir, dass es mit viel lüften besser würde. Wurde es aber nicht. Nach 2 Tagen haben wir dem Service Bescheid gegeben. Es kam jemand vorbei und erklärte uns, das dies völlig normal wäre. Ein Zimmerwechsel also auch nichts bringen würde. Es wäre in allen Zimmern so, das wäre auf Kauai normal. Zuvor waren wir in den Waimea Plantation Cottages, auch auf Kauai und direkt am Meer. Diese waren aber trocken, wie alle unsere Unterkünfte die vier Wochen zuvor auf verschiedenen Hawaii Inseln. Auch beim Essen gehen im Shutters gab es Unannehmklichkeiten. Man sagte uns, dass keine Tischreservierung vorgenommen würde. Wir kamen dort an, und man teilte uns mit, dass wir 30 min warten müssten. Viele Tische waren leer. Dies sei der Fall, da sie zu wenig Personal hätten. Nach 30 min versuchte man uns einen Tisch mit feuchten Barhockern zu geben. Wir zogen es vor, an der Bar zu essen. Das Essen war gut und die sich dort entwickelnde Unterhaltung war sehr nett. So hatten wir noch einen tollen Abend.

Awesome place. Great pools even with a long water slide. Right on the beach with wonderful views. Only 10 minutes from the airport (but no noise from planes). Lovely landscaping. friendly and helpful staff. immaculately clean.

We just stayed there for our 5th time since 2016 and we have always loved it. The rooms and buildings are dated but that has always been fine with me since the location, pools, live music, staff and beach access has always been so good. Unfortunately, they no longer have the local musicians playing poolside daily anymore and the vibe just isn't the same. Relaxing in your room is tough because none of the door closers to the rooms work so all you hear is the slamming of doors (something that has been the case during every stay) since apparently most people can't be bothered to stop it. The breakfast buffet is an absolute joke for $35. The rest of the food is just okay as it is inconsistent in quality/portion/presentation but also very pricey. The staff are all nice, hardworking people and it is just the greed of the owners that detract from the place.

It was limited dining and service was meh. Had to get a pool towel from valet. No room service available. Staff seemed like they were working short handed, which I understand fully. Housekeeping came by when they felt like it per day. It was kind of a boring resort.

I am not pleased about having to pay for parking when the parking gate was open the entire time. There was free in and out privileges. Why do we need to pay with the gate was always open. The afternoon employees at the front desk were not pleasant.

When we arrived for our stay we were informed that we booked a deal that was for Kauai residents only. And if we wanted the room reserved for us, we would have to pay an additional $200 a night. No assistance offered. I was made to sit in the lobby at 10:30pm with my family while I checked prices and booked our same room through a third party, Expedia. The Customer service in this situation was appalling. And the promos completely misleading. Plus we had to pay daily for parking and the water slide was closed half the time.

Upon reviewing your reservation, you initially made your reservation through the Kama'aina rate for Hawaii residents which requires a Hawaii State ID upon check in. As you were unable to provide a Hawaii ID, we could do for 1 of 2 options; 1. Amend the rate to our best available rate or 2. You could book another way, which in turn you made it through expedia. I also see that we refunded the initial deposit of 395.18 back to you upon booking your new reservation. All fees are stated on expedia's website to include the daily resort charge as well as our parking fee. As for our water slide, it is open daily with modified hours from 9AM-11AM and 1PM-3:30PM daily and until 4PM Friday-Sunday. This place was so cute! I booked it because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight out… and loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer

Loved it right off the bat the airport was not a issue as far as noise and it backed right up to the ocean. I liked that it was on the east side and it was no more than a hr north or south to partake in any of the activities the island has to offer. Great kid friendly swimming area and a adult beverage dispensery near the pool had a blast would def go back.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! Our room, the view, the staff, the food and drink were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back to this resort! This.location is literally a piece of paradise on earth!

The pool area was very nice but they only kept the waterslide open for limited times during the day which was a disappointment. The hotel was nice but the rooms are super small and a bit outdated.
