Kaha Lani Unit 129 is a beautiful ocean view home away from home. The spectacular Pacific Ocean is steps away - you will hear the sound of the waves and feel the trade winds blowing through your hair.

Kaha Lani means 'heavenly place'. As you approach the Kaha Lani you see the beautiful architecture. The Bali style structures (large pole and large eves) have a beautiful presence in their natural setting. Surrounded by tropical green and open space, the Kaha Lani is like no other on Kauai. This unique surrounding creates a quiet and peaceful setting- very tranquil. To the north of the Kaha Lani is Lydgate, an oceanfront State Park with (2) sheltered lagoons which have beautiful fish and ocean life. They are perfect for snorkeling and swimming. There are many picnic areas at Lydgate. This is a short walk from the Kaha Lani about (5-7) minutes or you can use the bike path. And next door to the south is Wailua Golf Course, rated one of the top municipal golf courses in the nation. This beautiful course is within walking distance and creates another natural buffer to the Kaha Lani.

Walking into this fully self-contained ground floor end unit condominium, you will be in awe at the spectacular views just a few steps away from the lanai. This unit #129 offers some of the best privacy on the property. It is the end unit on the last building to the North, with the neighbor being County Park on the other side of the fence. This building is only 2 stories tall (most are 3 stories) so the overall traffic is low on this end of the property. The yard along the side of this unit is essentially a private yard as nobody has any reason to go there. The paved lanai is the full width of the condo, but the grass yard is even with the lanai surface, essentially making the lanai space as large as you need it to be.

You are also able to enjoy a heated swimming pool, outdoor barbecues, and tennis courts where you can play a good game. All of this conjoining with the ocean make this the Kaha Lani truly 'One of a Kind'- the epicenter for a wonderful experience. The Kaha Lani is located on Kauai's Eastside coastline of the Coconut Coast and is centrally located. This location is perfect for exploring the island. Just a little further north of Lydgate State Park is Kamalani Playground and Kamalani Bridge, a great community-built playground for children. A world surfing spot 'Kitchens' is just south of the Kaha Lani; going north you find the world class waves at Tunnels Beach. You can walk miles of majestic unspoiled beaches from your condo and truly experience your home away from home.

While experiencing the tranquility of the Kaha Lani one is not to far from excellent restaurants in Kapaa, shopping, and many sites that offer everything from Yoga to Massage to outings. An example would be Wailua River, the Smith Family Luau, Coconut Marketplace, the quaint town of Kapa'a and many outdoor wonders to visit and unbelievable places to hike that have stunning waterfalls and tropical fruit growing everywhere. The surrounding beaches are one of a kind, for windsurfing, surfing, snorkeling and diving.

ABOUT THE CONDO:
Living room: sofa, lounge chair, 55" flat screen TV with cable, Sonos sound system. There is also a Murphy bunk bed in the living room (two twin beds).
Dining room: large oval table and (6) chairs.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Electric cooktop with oven, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig K-cup coffee maker with complimentary coffee and assorted teas, drip coffee maker, fully stocked dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The cooking supplies, spices and misc. baking items are also free to be used by guests.
Lanai: (2) lounges and lanai table with (4) chairs.
Master bedroom: king size bed, dresser, night stands.
Master bath: toilet, sink, shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.
Second bedroom: king bed, dresser, night stand.
Second bath: toilet, sink, tub/shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.
Hall closets: stackable full size washer and dryer & beach towels.
Lanai closet: various beach items (e.g. 2 beach chairs & cooler). There may be other misc. items left by guests.

Payment terms:
25% due at booking, balance due 60 days from check-in.

Cancellation policy:
Full refund if cancellation is made at least 60 days from check-in. 50% refund if cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days from check-in.

Discount for stays over 7 nights:
5% discount per night for stays longer than 7 nights
10% discount per night for stays longer than 28 nights

This condo was perfect for our family vacation, clean with a great washer and dryer and all the kitchen items we needed for our stay. Our favorite part was walking a few short steps to the beach every morning and watching the sunrise on the east side. We will definitely be staying here again for our next trio to Kauai.

Location is great. Beds were comfy. Clean and had everything we need including 4 beach chairs and an umbrella. Only complaint is no AC. They had multiple fans so that helped but listing didn’t state no AC. Other than that it was fantastic.

Great location for us- went swimming and walking every morning/evening - mahalo for all the beach towels….Kitchen …washer & dryer …toilets with bidets…all good.On the down side- upstairs guest arrived with 3 little kids who NEVER stopped running around & talking, dad kept yelling at them- kept tossing things off their balcony -crazy but kids are kids…also trying getting in touch with our host about leaving a day earlier- we left Sunday instead on Monday and still haven’t heard back yet about a 1 day refund.Overall stay was great and perfect for what we needed.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay. However, the owner needs to update some photos. There is NO pull-out couch, as shown in the photos. I had a child who didn't want to sleep on the top bunk, but we made it work. The outdoor furniture was also different in the photos. We were very thankful for all the fans, but the first 2 nights were VERY uncomfortable and warm since the hurricane had stopped the trade winds for a few days. We had ants every morning in the kitchen, no matter how clean we left it, but there was a spray provided under the sink, and we know bugs are common in Hawaii, just be prepared. We had a few issues with the Toilet bowl handle and the outdoor sliding screens.Location was perfect for sunrises and waking to Lydgate Park. But it can get loud with maintenance.Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there needs to be some photo updates.

This is a lovely condo in a relatively quiet part of Kauai. It’s within easy walking distance of Lydgate Beach’s swimming areas, and the beach in front of the property has lots of driftwood on which to sit and watch the ocean or play in the surf. (Our son is 10, and handled the waves here with ease; he was standing/jumping into them, not swimming.)

Excellent homebase location on the island, quick trips to Lihue and easy launch point going any direction. Good beach and kids play within a short walk, the pool on the property was fun. Would recommend!

Had to get a new tv, the bracket to hold the shower head was broken but Dale tool care of both. A little inconvenient to have to wait for the pest control team to arrive, ants in the kitchen—one of their technicians walked in with no protective slippers on and left dirt on the floor.

Great location

We loved this property! It was in walking distance to Lydgate beach which allowed us to stroll the beach every morning to watch the sunset. Perfect swimming area for our kid and central to the island which allowed us to get to all of our activities in less then 30 minutes! The space was great with tons of room. I actually think the pictures don’t do it justice.

Work needed.

When we first arrived there were no fans on, no windows open so it felt like a sauna inside the condo. We ended up having to communicate to the owner that some fans, garbage disposal outdoor screen door and other things were not working. There was also a cleanliness issue that I had to clean because it was either blood on the bathroom wall or something worse. Either I couldn't leave it there for our week long stay. I did communicate with the owners who live in WA and they did arrange for their manager to come by and fix some things. I shouldn't have to do all this communication on my vacation. Owners did not offer any sort of compensation except a thanks for letting us know. Some things still did not work during our stay. The condo is definitely dated compared so others on the resort. We went and looked a couple that were for sale just cause we were curious. Overall however the location to the main road was great. Beach access is easy. The condo was supplied with the basics like dishes, pots, pans cups, garbage bags, soaps ect.. Limited views from the patio.

40th Birthdays!

We came to Kauai with a group of friends to celebrate our birthdays. The condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Each couple having a little wing to themselves. The rooms are far enough from the common space that it made it quiet even when others were conversing in the living room. The location is perfect - right on Lydgate beach, one of the best on the island. Loved our stay, would absolutely stay again!

Amazing Location, Absolutely Wonderful Condo!

Our stay at this property was exceptional! It is steps from ocean where we only occasional saw other people! The condo was furnished with everything imaginable, all In good working condition and all exceptionally clean. We felt very safe and secure in the condo community and were welcomed cheerfully by the resident jungle fowl. Communication with the owner was seedless and quick. We hope to return soon as we fell in love with Kauai. This condo was a perfect home base for us. We offer our highest recommendation!

The beds are SOOOOO comfortable!! What a great surprise. There are 2 Pack N Plays in the main hallway closet. If we would’ve know that, we would have left ours at home. There are some Tommy Bahama beach chairs (4) and floaties in the outside storage on the porch. The roosters will wake you at random hours of the night…they are all over the island, you can’t avoid it unless you’re on a resort somewhere. No A/C so just know you will be running fans to keep cool. It was comfortable! Really great place. Enjoy!!

Great location for our first time to Kauai. The grounds were beautiful. Loved the ground floor and open patio to walk out to the beach each sunrise. The place was totally stocked with things we didn’t expect! The no a/c made us a little nervous, but we grew to love it with open windows! Take me back!!!
