Some vacations you tolerate. This one your family talks about for years.
Someone in your family has been waiting for this. Maybe it's the grandmother who hasn't seen everyone in one place in too long. Maybe it's the kids who have been asking since last Christmas. Maybe it's you — the one who researched every option, built the group chat, and finally found a place that actually works for everyone at once.
Everview is a private mountain retreat in Leicester, NC — 21 minutes from downtown Asheville. Not in Asheville. Better. No shared walls, no resort lobby, no compromises. The whole home is yours. Three bedrooms, two full game rooms, a 6-person hot tub with mountain views, a private 4-person barrel steam sauna, a chef's kitchen built for real cooking and step-free ramp access for every generation in your group. Sleeps 10 comfortably.
What you see here is what you arrive to. Professional photos, and a growing collection of five-star reviews from families just like yours — and a host who answers personally. Trust is earned, not assumed.
Fall color season, Thanksgiving, Labor Day and Biltmore Estate's celebrated seasonal events are all coming up fast — and these weekends fill months ahead. If your family has been talking about doing something like this, this is the one.
THE SPACE
Some homes have a game room. Everview has two — one up, one down — because one was never going to be enough for a group this size.
The main floor game room features hand-painted murals, a 75-inch Smart TV, a pool table that converts to ping pong, skee-ball and shuffleboard with its own climate control so it is comfortable year round. The lower level steps it up with an 85-inch Smart TV, ★ Ms. Pac-Man and Street Fighter II standup arcade games, a poker table and a BYOB wet bar. Board games stocked in the lower closet for the nights the competitive streak really kicks in. Someone in your group will disappear for three hours and come out smiling.
★ The kitchen is where guests consistently stop and stare. Belgian waffle maker, Instant Pot, espresso machine, three types of coffee beans, flavored syrups, air fryer and a fully stocked spice rack. The ★ coffee and tea bar has made mornings a highlight of more stays than we can count. Dining seats 10, breakfast bar seats four more — nobody eats in shifts. +Water purifier.
Outside, the northwest-facing upper deck seats 10 with grill access and ★ mountain views that hit differently at golden hour. Stairs connect down to the ★ fire pit with seating for 7 — where anniversaries get celebrated, toasts get made, and evenings nobody planned to stay up for somehow stretch past midnight.
★ The hot tub seats 6 and faces the mountains. The private ★ barrel steam sauna fits 4. Guests consistently call both a highlight of the stay.
MAIN FLOOR
★ Master Suite: King bed, 65-inch Smart TV, walk-in shower, ★ soaking tub with wine table, guest robes, walk-in closet and Pack-N-Play for the littlest guests. The kind of suite that makes whoever planned this trip feel like it was all worth it.
Kitchen and Dining: Fully loaded kitchen, breakfast bar for 4 and dining for 10.
Living Room: 65-inch Smart TV, swivel chairs and walkout to the upper deck with stair access to the fire pit below.
★ Game Room: Hand-painted murals, 75-inch Smart TV, pool and ping pong table, skee-ball and shuffleboard. Climate controlled.
Laundry Room: New Samsung washer and dryer — because a week in the mountains shouldn't mean coming home to a mountain of laundry.
Half bath on main level.
LOWER LEVEL
Queen bedroom with 40-inch Smart TV, guest robes and closet — a quiet retreat for whoever needs a moment away from the action. Because everyone does eventually.
★ Bunk room with double bunks for the kids, Infinity Gaming table and 40-inch Smart TV. They will claim this space within ten minutes of arriving and you won't see them until dinner.
★ Second game room with 85-inch Smart TV, Ms. Pac-Man and Street Fighter II standup arcades and poker table.
Wet bar — BYOB, coffee maker
Board games stocked in lower closet.
Two owner storage closets are reserved for property supplies — everything else in the home is yours to enjoy.
OUTDOOR
★ Hot Tub: Seats 6 with northwest mountain views — better after dark.
★ Barrel Steam Sauna: Private, 4-person. Guests call it a game-changer.
Alfresco Dining: Upper deck seats 10 with northwest-facing sunset views and grill.
★ Fire Pit: Seating for 7 with mountain views. This is where the trip becomes a memory.

GOOD TO KNOW
The driveway fits 3 mid-size cars comfortably. RVs and oversized trucks will have difficulty on this narrow mountain road. Upon exiting onto Alexander Road, take extra care turning left — it is a tight angle. A full arrival guide is sent before you get here so nobody is guessing.
Your door code arrives via smart lock a few days before check-in — no keys to lose track of, no coordination required at arrival.
Two other homes share this private road. Evenings are consistently peaceful and quiet.
★ Water is sourced from a private well — safe and natural, with both a refrigerator filter and countertop purifier provided. No need to bring water.
★ WiFi is 1 Gbps with approximately 1,000 Mbps download — among the fastest you will find anywhere in the mountains. The teenagers will be fine.
An external security camera monitors the front entry and driveway only — motion activated, audio and video capable. No cameras inside the home. Ever.
The locals say they have never seen a bear on this road — but you are in the mountains, so keep trash lids closed and enjoy the wildlife from a respectful distance.
The home is on a septic system. Toilet paper only, please. The fireplace is decorative only.
SAFETY
Your family's safety matters — so we have made it simple, not overwhelming.
Emergency contacts and local services are posted on the refrigerator. First aid kit is under the kitchen sink. Fire extinguishers are under the kitchen sink, the downstairs bar sink and on both decks. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout. Night lights in the bathrooms and along the game room steps.
Asheville Regional Medical Center is approximately 30 minutes away. Urgent care options are closer. You will have everything you need — and we hope you never need any of it.
We ask that a competent adult be present when using the kitchen, grill, hot tub, sauna and fire pit. Please rinse before entering the hot tub. No jumping or diving. Drone use requires prior written approval per FAA guidelines.
CHECKOUT AND AGREEMENTS
To ensure every family arrives to the same exceptional experience, we kindly ask that checkout is completed on time. Late departures may incur additional fees — thank you for your understanding. Rental agreement and ID verification are required prior to arrival — a quick and simple step. The booking guest must be 25 or older, or request prior approval and be present throughout the stay.
We do not charge extra for sunshine and we do not refund for rain. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Weather-related refunds are only considered in the case of a local government-issued evacuation order, handled individually and with care.
No parties. No smoking. No pets. Just your people, the mountains and memories worth making.
Our prices include all fees. No surprises at checkout — what you see is what you pay.
Fall weekends, Thanksgiving and Biltmore holiday dates book months ahead. If you have been waiting for the right time — this is it.
We would love to host your family's next chapter at Everview. Leicester, NC — 21 minutes from Asheville and worth every mile.
