Asheville Mountain Blockhaus

(Haustiere: Hund, nur 1, unter 20 lbs. Danke) Diese klimatisierte, 700 m² große Blockhütte im Landhausstil befindet sich auf einem Berg mit Blick auf das Newfound River Valley und bietet den perfekten Zufluchtsort. Das Rundum-Deck bietet Sonnenaufgangs- und Sonnenuntergangsblick auf den Himmel (und hervorragende Sternbeobachtung bei Nacht). Es liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Asheville (15 Minuten) und Waynesville / Maggie Valley und bietet von jedem Fenster aus einen unglaublichen Blick auf die Berge.
Das Erdgeschoss umfasst das Hauptschlafzimmer und eine offene Küche sowie einen Ess- und Wohnbereich mit einem Kamin aus Stein, Holzböden und Kathedralendecken. Die deckenhohen Fenster bieten einen weiten Blick auf den Himmel, das Tal und die Berge. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alle drei Schlafzimmer verfügen über Queensize-Betten. Das Loft verfügt auch über ein Queensize-Bett und einen Flachbild-TV (Sat.-TV und DVD / Blue-ray) mit einer großen Auswahl an Filmen. Die Küche verfügt über alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Wi-Fi hält Sie mit der Außenwelt in Verbindung (wenn Sie es brauchen).
Die Hütte ist umgeben von über 20 Hektar großen Feldern und Pinien mit vier Pferden, die das Gras im Frühjahr, Sommer und Herbst kurz halten. Die perfekte Lage - Asheville, der Blue Ridge Parkway, das Biltmore Estate, das Grove Park Inn, Cherokee, Hunderte von erstklassigen Wanderwegen, River Rafting, Tubing, Kajakfahren, Klettern und Angeln sind alle nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Sie sind ungefähr 30 Minuten von mehreren Skigebieten und dem Great Smoky Mountains National Park entfernt.
Bitte beachten Sie: Die WLAN-Verbindung stammt von einem Satelliten-Internetanbieter und ist daher begrenzt. Für eine Woche normales Surfen im Internet ist dies in Ordnung (und schnell), jedoch nicht für das Streamen von Videos (einschließlich Netflix, YouTube usw.), wodurch das Datenlimit schnell aufgebraucht wird. Sobald das Limit von 5 GB aufgebraucht ist, funktioniert die Verbindung immer noch, wird jedoch sehr langsam.

Great stay

Great stay with our family. Easy access to Asheville as well as trails and waterfalls in various surrounding areas. The cabin was well equipped with games and especially puzzles - I think we completed 8 in 6 days! If I had any constructive feedback it would be that the road down in the valley isn’t super noisy but takes away from the serenity at times . . . and an outdoor fire pit would make the mountain experience complete - and allow for s’mores. Overall great place. We really enjoyed it.

Trip is tainted because of your accusations of damage.

My stay at your cabin was wonderful. The deck with the beautiful views were a favorite. It was fun watching the cows from the back deck every morning. Our stay was a much needed respite following the death of my husband last year. As we had made plans to visit the Asheville area before he died. But now the trip is tainted because of your accusations of damage. My 14 lb dog did pee on the master carpet twice, small amounts when we first arrived. I'm sure my dog was marking his territory because of all the stains on the carpet already. I immediately cleaned up the carpet were my dog peed and there were not any stains left by this. Following that my dog was never out of our site or he was in his crate. I don't understand why I was charged a pet fee of $75 and now you want me to pay $150 to clean your carpet that was already stained. And as for the chair, that damage was not there when we left. I had my hand bag on the table and my sweatshirt on that chair before we checked out. Again there was no damage on it. I have no evidence/proof such as photos to dispute these additional charges of $75 for the chair and $150 for the carpet. So I have no leg to stand on. I would recommend that others photograph/video the entire cabin on check in and check out so that they are not taken advantage of with additional charges.

My wife and I have lost track how many times we have stayed at this luxury “cabin”. The location makes it easy for our daughter, son-in-law and grandson to visit from West Asheville and we are not far fro mountain hiking. We are planning our next visit.

Best getaway ever!

My family and I spent our Thanksgiving is this lovely and cozy cabin. It was very clean and spacious. It was the perfect getaway to unplug from everything and just relax. The rooms were great, kitchen and living room were awesome, and we enjoyed our ping pong tournaments in the basement. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a break from everything. Perfect place and not far from lots of things to do, whether it be shopping, hiking, or sight seeing! Definitely will be going back again. We fell in love with this place! The owners have done a wonderful job with the place. Thanks for letting my family spend our holiday there!

Lovely spacious cabin with a view

We had a great stay at Valley View Cabin! Cabin was nice and open. It sits on a nice spot with just a few other farm houses around. We ended up not really doing too much in Asheville but instead went on hikes and drives off of the blue ridge parkway & Pisgah national forest. We did end up having to drive pretty far to get to those places so if you’re looking to do that I would suggest somewhere closer on the other side of Asheville. But if you’re looking to spend time in Asheville it’s a perfect 10-15 min drive to the main parts of town. Patterson’s, Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely cabin!

Incredible mountain cabin

This property is situated beautifully out in the country with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Very easy to enjoy a quiet sunrise with a morning cup of coffee on the front deck or watch the day come to a close with the sun setting behind the mountains. With a short drive to enjoy the Biltmore estate or to the highest peak east of the Mississippi, this is the place to stay to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely Stay at a Homey Cabin

This place was perfect! This cabin had the perfect amount of rooms and amenities - and was a great distance from town. We were able to travel without hassle to nearby hiking/lookout spots and downtown for food/drinks/shopping and also enjoy the cabin's solitude. I will definitely recommend this space to others! Wonderful stay!

Family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. It had a wonderful view of the mountains - near and far - from the nice wrap-around porch. The cabin was well-appointed, clean, spacious, and had a great layout. We were VERY comfortable and had zero issues. Such a beautiful Cabin

We had an amazing time in the cabin. The Views were fantastic from every room. we spent time in the porch just admiring the beautiful mountain views. It was so beautiful!!. The house was very clean and had a very relaxing ambiance. the beds were so comfortable. I slept like a baby every day Mr. Jim responded any questions right away and gave us great suggestions for places to visit. the location was great close to Asheville and so many other beautiful areas My daughter, our yorkie, and I LOVED our stay !! thank you for hosting us .. Will be coming back at with everyone we know!

We booked a last minute trip to Asheville and found this GEM! We had a wonderful time walking the property and our daughter had a blast "moo-ing" at the cows next door. We noticed how the log cabin did not smell musty as log cabins normally do. The freshness of the air outside matched it on the inside. A short 15-20 minute drive to breweries and restaurants, yet a slice of heaven if you want to stay in and play a board game or talk with friends. We want to bring both of our families back to this one. Thank you for your hospitality!
