„Despite a crappy situation as to why we were in town visiting, this property made it all worth it! Everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The interior was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. The exterior is absolutely gorgeous with all natural scenery and the landscaping adds the finishing touches. The location is great too as you are submerged in the wilderness but are just a few minutes away from the local towns. My husband and I would definitely stay here again! “

„Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.“

„I can not say enough. The house was lovely, grounds so cute, and the hosts are a wonderful family. They have a small grocery store on the grounds with all the things you might forget if you even need it because the kitchen was well stocked. One of the daughters greeted us and was a joy. Iv stayed in a lot of vrbos and this one is hands down my favorit. “
