Alan..Clean and Comfortable is our goal ..and we're happy to hear you validated our efforts in providing that for our guests. We do have 2 rate categories ..the Deluxe rooms are listed in the description as having a compact refrigerator and microwave. The Moderate category, which you chose, does not offer those amenities and therefore is a more economical price. We offer both so a guest can choose which they require for their stay. Sorry to hear that we didn't met your expectations. Our goal is to provide a Clean and Comfortable guest room at an economical price. We've recently replaced all of the hard good furniture in the guest rooms adding additional electrical outlets and USB ports at the nightstand and desk spaces. And the rooms feature flat screen TVs, 150+ cable tv channels, free wi-fi, in room coffee makers and individually controlled heat and a/c. While we are an older property, we continually work on updating our guest rooms to provide a Clean and Comfortable stay for our guests. This summer all guest rooms had their hard surface furniture replaced with a new base unit, desks, occasional table and nightstand with the desk and nightstands equipped with USB and electrical outlets. All rooms have Flat Screen TVs with over 150 cable channels to chose from. Free WiFi, in room coffee makers and individually controlled Heat and A/C controls...and our 1 story building allows you to park directly in front of the guest room door for easy access. Guests may also choose rooms with compact refrigerators and microwaves if they desire those amenities. And you are correct, we are not lake front which is why we do not advertise as such. We are located on the west side of the Lake of the Ozarks in the town of Laurie, Missouri in close proximity to many options for restaurants and bars, grocery stores, hardware and many other services. We receive many positive comments from our guests that enjoy our location and services. Thank you for choosing us for your stay.

Carla ...Sorry to hear that your room accommodations didn't meet your expectations. We are continually making improvements to our guest rooms and just recently upgraded all of the hard surface furniture in every guest room. While the motel office is not open 24/7, we have a staff member that lives on site and can be reached by dialing the office number listed on the guest room phone 24x7. A direct dial number is also provided on the office door whenever the office is closed. We do provide guest services around the clock. It should also be noted that a Do Not Disturb sign was displayed on your door for the entire duration of your stay with us ...so we honored your request and housekeeping did not enter your room. Again, our apologies.

There are several cooling cycles on the unit plus 4 fan speeds. The motel office or housekeeping is always available to make sure the unit is operating as it should or explain the various settings for you.

We were able to accommodate you for the 2nd night in another comparable room type, however, you continued to blame the front desk for this situation while we did all possible to satisfy your needs.
