A perfect place to stay
The home is great. The hosts are wonderful, accommodating, and quickly responsive to questions- they even gave food recommendations. We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the heart of Amish country. The neighborhood is not great for walking, but there are sidewalks directly adjacent to the house, and you can walk safely around the block. We found hiking trails at Money Rocks County Park in the Welsh Mountains (about 30 minutes) that we did not try... yet. And we found a wonderful park within 5 minutes that had great walking paths, Greenfield Community Park. Highly recommend. Katie's was great for Amish food, as was Dienner's. Hudson's Botanical was a cute spot for a great meal within about 3 minutes of the house.

Reunion Get-Away
The Betty really impressed me the moment I entered the house. It was very clean with lovely decor. With quick access to Route 30, it is still in the country where horse and buggy frequently drove by. The Betty was the right size for our group of four college friends to enjoy a short reunion.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was cute. It would be good to have a second bathroom and the water pressure in the bathroom sink needs attention. It was close to Sight and Sound and all of the Amish area. Location was good.

Very Cute and Comfortable
Very clean. I might suggest making the empty room when you first enter another bedroom. It seems like wasted space. We were thrilled when an Amish "school bus" went by on the road behind the house. It was a cart with a mule pulling it. Good central location. We all agreed we would stay there again.

Perfect getaway
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend with our 4 kids. We stayed in the area for a little get away and to go to Dutch wonderland. The outside of the house looks older but the inside is updated and cozy! The owners were easy to reach for any questions. I have a hard time sleeping not in my own bed but I slept great here. The house was very clean and has everything you would need. It is minutes from everything. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day and watching the Phillies win. GO PHILLIES! We will be back!

Misleading
The pictures of the property online do not correctly indicate the actual setup. There are two sets of stairs plus stairs to the basement where the washer and dryer are. The kitchen is so small and there is no place to put any groceries you bring with you. The sectional sofa has 2 recliners that don't work. The washer does not work properly and the coffee maker takes 30 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. The pictures are very deceiving, they don't give a true picture of the property.

Hey Cynthia- I find this review very disheartening!! In three years of renting this property we have NEVER received a review like this before. We try our best to provide a clean cozy place for people and have NO intentions of deceiving anyone! This property was re-done inside in 2019. As for the coffee pot taking 30 min. and the recliners not working… Again, no one else ever mentioned it, I will definitely look into it. I’m sad about this review because I know that one negative review can affect the way people see things but we have many many positive reviews. So I apologize for any disappointment you had in Betty’s House!!

Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We had such a nice stay at Betty's house. Elmer and Rosa are very kind and communication was excellent. The house is adorable, very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, a side street off a busier road with very little through traffic. We were so close to Bird and Hand and everything we wanted to do was easy to get to. I would highly recommend Betty's House and look forward to staying again.

We stayed at this clean and cozy home after spending the day with our two young kids at Dutch Wonderland. Just five minutes away, Betty's house was a convenient place to rest, relax, and sleep. The inside is well maintained. Check in was easy. We carried out from one of the nearby restaurants; there is a lot close by. Would and probably will stay again!

Perfection- great place, great location us cyclist in town for part 1 of 3 trifecta of the Covered Bridges Classic. We only stayed one night but are returning in two weeks for part 2. Newly upgraded appliances with well stocked kitchen. Beds were super comfortable. We ate at the Agave Cafe and Grill on the host recommendation and loved it.
