The Space:
The space
Enjoy your morning coffee by the fireplace, gazing out the picture window into the lush foliage, or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on the covered porch overlooking the fire pit. Warm up in the private sauna after a day on the slopes, unwind in the hot tub under the trees, or curl up in the hanging hammock chair with a good book. We have everything you need for the perfect getaway, whether you love hiking, skiing, swimming, relaxing, cooking, adventuring, or all of the above.
The Living Room is our favorite spot in the house. Start up the electric fireplace to make the house feel super cozy. Lounge on the leather sofas and gaze out the picture windows to take in the view of lush foliage, switch on the Smart TV (easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account) for movie night or the big game, or enjoy one of our board games with your group. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen, which has an expansive island and stools for gathering around, and a dining room with enough seating for your whole group to dine together.
Sleeping Arrangements
Alpine Lodge has 8 traditional bedrooms and an additional bed in the upstairs loft area, which altogether can sleep up to 17 guests. There are 9 beds in total. With 3 King bedrooms (two with en suite bathrooms), 4 Queen bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a trundle bed, and 1 twin bed in the upstairs loft, you'll find room for your entire group to spread out. All bedrooms feature Casper mattresses, quality linens, and are thoughtfully decorated. Smart TVs are in five of the bedrooms. Most bedrooms have spacious closets with shelving so you can comfortably unpack. In the lofted upstairs area, you'll also find a nook with a small desk, perfect for working on a laptop. Each room has its own climate control so everyone can adjust to their preference.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes, plus cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, a spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For your morning brew there's a Ninja coffee maker, plus a blender for smoothies, frozen drinks, and cocktails. You'll find all the dishware, serveware, and drinkware you need for a large group to dine, and a dishwasher to make cleanup easy.
Game Room & Den
Bring on game night. The game room is stocked with two classic arcade machines (Pac-Man and NBA Jam), a foosball table, comfy bean bag seating, and a library of tabletop and board games including shuffleboard, dominoes, tic tac toe, and chess. Just down the way, the den features a full-size pool table with lounge seating, the perfect spot to rack 'em up after dinner. Between the two rooms, there's something for every age in your group.
Outdoor Space
The backyard is a cozy spot to relax and unwind. Grill out on the propane BBQ, enjoy a friendly round of cornhole, or gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down, with the covered porch just steps away.
Bathrooms
There are 4 bathrooms at Alpine Lodge. On the first floor, you'll find two full bathrooms — one off the main living area and one nested within a bedroom. On the second floor is another full bathroom accessible from the corridor. A second-floor bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a spacious shower and a large soaking tub, perfect for filling with bubbles or salts to kick back and relax. All bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and plush towels.
Outdoors
Step out back to a covered wood deck with outdoor seating for al fresco dining, surrounded by towering trees and overlooking the fire pit. Relax in the private sauna and hot tub, or sway in the hanging hammock chair. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we've got a propane grill (with an extra tank provided). Further out in the yard, the fire pit is surrounded by 6 Adirondack chairs for your group to gather around. (Firewood not provided.)
As parents ourselves, we understand the fun and challenges of traveling with kids. We've stocked our home with creature comforts for smaller guests, including BPA-free plastic dinnerware and cups, a high chair, and a crib that can be folded down and moved to your room of choice. Our shared bathroom with a shower-tub combo has a handheld shower head to make bath time easier.
