The perfect home to create lasting memories with family and friends! This 6 bedroom home has it all for entertaining with amazing views of Bald Mountain and the Bald Mountain golf course including the green and pond that was filmed in the pop-culture hit "Dirty Dancing"! Guests also have access to a wide array of amenities at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. In addition, there are so many options within a one hour drive (Asheville, Biltmore Estate, vineyard/wine tours, brewery tours, Chimney Rock State Park, Bald Mountain State Park, Zen Tubing, Tryon International Equestrian Center, and much, much more!).

Managed by local Property Management team that live at Rumbling Bald who know the area, key events/things to do and can provide immediate response to address any questions or issues that may arise during your stay. Our goal is to make sure you have "the time of your life" at Lake Lure! Please note that this property sleeps 12 and the rental includes 12 passes to utilize the amenities at Rumbling Bald. Children under 12 don't need a pass. Passes are required to access main beach, all pools, Wellness Center and Cabana (boat rentals). Passes are not required for the golf courses, restaurants or the common areas/trails.. The Resort has pontoon boats which are available to rent, along with SUP Boards and kayaks. Additionally, speed boats can be rented at Lake Lure Adventures. Golf Carts can be rented from Resort or other providers in the area. Contact me for more details. Please note we have Private Caretakers who have been trained on how to clean the home to disinfect it after each stay. This means they wear gloves and disinfect every surface, door knob, light switch, remote controls, foosball handles, etc. Private hot tub on back deck (easy access to kitchen area). Some homes advertise they have a hot tub, but it is located at the indoor pool at the Resort. Big difference. Not all homes in Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure are behind the gates and not all homes have INTERNET. This one does. Some homes have access to Resort but it is a pain to drive to the amenities. Make sure you know what you are renting and where it is located. Located within the gates of the Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Note only houses which are part of the resort have access to the resort amenities (2 golf courses, 3 outdoor pools, 1 in-door pool and much, much more!

The perfect lake house!
If you’re looking for the perfect lake house stop searching! This is the one! The house was everything we were looking for. Great views, plenty of space, and cozy. Plenty amenities and right on the lake. Also right there at great restaurants and Chimney Rock. Scott and his wife were amazing! Book this house!!

Family Christmas Gathering
Every year at Christmas our family gathers to celebrate together, since there is 13 of us we rent a cabin. This house is the best we’ve stayed in yet! Communication with the owner was easy with quick response times! The house had everything anyone would need! One of the BEST things about this house was the mattresses on each bed!!! They were awesome and so very comfortable!! Most of the rentals we’ve stayed at did not have good supportive mattresses! The owner left up the Christmas tree and decorations which were beautiful and perfect! The views were amazing even from the two master suites! Hopefully we can stay here again!!

This Property Has It All
We had a large group of 5 couples and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was supplied with every utensil, pots, pans, dishes and appliances we needed. Even an air fryer. Most important were the 2 coffee pots and a hot water pot for all of us. We built so many fires and the property had plenty of wood at the house. Their was ample space for all of us inside and out. LOVED the swing overlooking the lake and the mountains. Absolutely gorgeous view! Most of all, I would like to thank the amazing property managers! We had no power when we arrived (there was a line hit during some construction in the area). Scott & Lynette provided plenty of lanterns for each of us and continually communicated with us during the outage. They assured us they would take care of us - and they did. They even surprised us with a smore's gift basket for our group as a consolation! SO KIND! Thankfully, the power was restored quickly, but we were impressed with how it was handled by the Martins. They were very responsive. It felt like home here and we really did have the time of our lives! Thank you!

Loved the home and the Views. The home was very clean and stocked (coffee, dishes, etc.) 17 years of the same group of friends this house was certainly one of the best. Will try to book next year.

Great property, with great amenities. We have been coming up for 4 years, staying at different houses. But i think we found our every year home, if had everything our group of 10 guys needed and then some. Great communication with the leasing manager and easy check in. Will definitely be back for our next golf outing.

Perfect house for a big group
Super easy communication with homeowners before checking in. Very quick responses. Homeowners also sent a list of activities going on for the weekend which was awesome! Upon arrival, parking at home was easy, several level spots for 6-8 cars easily. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need or want. And the house is set up so a large group can really spread out and not feel on top of each other. Lots of fun games in basement - ping pong, pool table, foosball table. Then the 2 separate living rooms, fire pit stocked with wood, hot tub, and 2 huge back patios were so great. Also the garage had 2 extra refrigerators, coolers, lawn chairs, and pool noodles to borrow. Our group goes to Rumbling Bald annually, and everyone agreed this is our favorite house to date! We’ll be back!!!

A week at Rumbling Bald
The Dirty Dancing Lodge was located with a view of a small lake, the golf course area where a scene from Dirty Dancing was filmed and Rumbling Bald Mountain. As the two oldest members of the family, my husband and I spent a lot of time enjoying the views both back and front of the property. The youngest found much to occupy their time. We even saw a bear! I recommend this vacation home.

Fantastic location/house!
We had such an incredible time celebrating my folks 60th wedding anniversary and cousins 60th birthday. Rumbling Bald Resort
Our family of my wife and I and our 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren stayed in the "Dirty Dancing House" at the Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure NC. The home was perfect for our group with plenty of bedroom space and gathering spaces. Located just above the 16th hole of the Bald Mountain golf course, we had great views of the Blue Ridge mountains nearby. Everyone in our group, with their varied interests, all found something they liked to do.Some like the pool and beach at the lake, and some enjoyed playing golf. Some just enjoyed relaxing on the spacious decks surrounding the house. We had a great week.
