Welcome to The Haven at Lake Junaluska. These 2 neighboring homes, The Ark and The Higher Ground, are available to rent together for large groups or family gatherings. Ideally situated within the Lake Junaluska Retreat Center, these homes combined can accommodate up to 20 people with 9 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

These two neighboring homes are conveniently located just a short walk from one another, making them an ideal option for families, reunions, retreats, and large group getaways. Rent both homes together to comfortably accommodate your entire group while still enjoying the convenience and privacy of separate spaces.

The Ark is now animal-friendly! Guest are welcome to bring a maximum of two (2) pets, each weighing no more than 40 pounds. (Animals are permitted in The Ark only. Please see the house rules for additional information.)

A standout feature of this community is the impressive range of amenities close by. Guests can take advantage of a lakeside coffee shop, an association pool, tennis courts, paddleboards, canoes, mini-golf, and a scenic walking path around the lake, offering something enjoyable for every age and interest. Both homes are a short walk to the lake and the walking trail. Whether you want to start the day with a peaceful stroll, spend the afternoon on the water, or enjoy a casual game with family and friends, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your stay.
