„Don't be discouraged by the outside appearance of this gem of a place. As soon as you enter you are presented with a spacious, verging on opulent living space. Everything was as listed. Beautifully maintained and clean, we had a cosy couple of nights during some petty awful weather. Underfloor heating, comfortable beds, efficient heating was just what we needed.Only minute criticism was no coffee plunger but everything else was great. „A beautifully clean, comfortable home with everything available that a family with two young kids could need. Close to shops and easily walkable, with added benefit of being fully fenced for the safety and security of our dogs. Delwyn and Lloyd were fantastic hosts, with heating and lights on for our arrival as well as providing some freshly baked goods, and in touch if we needed them. 10/10 would book again!“

„Forest House is warm, comfortable, spacious and attractively furnished. It is in a private and quiet setting close to Lake Ferry and Martinborough. The cleaning fee was on the high side for just 2 people, but it was very clean and well maintained and there was no problem keeping warm in winter with the fire and Air conditioning. Great communication, enjoyed our time at Forest House. Only thing we missed was a normal sized oven tray and a normal sized cheese grater! Other than that, perfect.“

„We had the perfect base for our Martinborough visit. The bed was super comfortable, great shower and lots of hot water. Very well equipped with everything. Loved the space and inside/outside balance. 'Hot' tub (because we dialled the temperature down,) was a great relaxer at the end of a day of exploring and walking. We would happily stay again. Few things needed attention but property agents responsive to contact.“

„We enjoyed the location especially the proximity to Petone and getting to the city. The place was clean and warm and spacious. “

„We were looking for two main features - walking distance to the Square and an open fire for cold winter nights. The cute cottage had both and we enjoyed the stay. The big deck was great in the winter sun and would be fabulous in summer. We were 'chaperoned' by the property cat - very friendly, and compliant when guided back out the door at night.“

„We had an absolutely amazing stay! The accommodation was perfect for our group of 8 friends and our dog — spacious, clean, and super cozy. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. The common areas were great for hanging out together, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space too. The dog loved it just as much as we did — lots of room to play and explore!“
