„The host was amazing. He contacted us to see what time to expect us. Whenever we walked up he was at the door to welcome us and show us around. We loved everything about our stay. Now understand that this is a traditional Japanese home. My family enjoyed the experience. We were a nice 15 minute walk to the bamboo Forest, a short walk to several dining options, cafe for coffee and a Lawson for convenience. „Although we did not have face-to-face interaction with anyone at the property, they were very responsive messaging through Expedia app. The property was lovely and just as the picture displayed. We were able to check in at 1pm instead of 3pm because the housekeeping was done, which was greatly appreciated because we were hot and tired after our trip! The location is wonderful! Walkable to Pontocho alley, Nishiki Market and all the shrines on the East side of Gion. We would stay here again!“
