„Located inside the labyrinth that was originally a fishing village built out over the water, but now has many home stays catering to tourists. We arrived on a Thursday and were the only people there for that night and were told it was quieter with the lack of Singaporean tourist due to border closure. By Friday night we noticed a lot more tourists in the area as well as at the home stay we were in. Xiang Holiday Home was perfect for us - at the furtherest extreme of the village with lovely ocean ...

„Enjoyed the free boat ride to and return from the chalet as it is situated at truly the final end of the village from the jetty. The room condition was okay, good enough for a decent stay by four persons. WiFi was not existed so you have to rely on your own data but the signal was a bit weak. Overall, worth a stay.“

We have no clue about the hotel and randomly make the decision after long journey from KL to Pasir Gudang before reached Pontian in the evening. „They make effort to keep it clean and service was excellent. Unfortunately, May be due to low take up rate, towel have yellow moulds, spider seen under bed shelves. Room has no window for light could be reason for musty smell when check in initially. Overall, decent to stay.“

„The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and the price was very affordable. However, the condition of the toilet, towels, and bedsheets could be improved; the towels and bedsheets had a slight yellowing, the aircon also making some noise throughout the night. On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they provided a toothbrush, 2 bottles of mineral water, and one-time use slippers, which was a nice touch.“
