Sehr zentrale Lage
Das Hotel hat weitgehend unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Der Service des Personals ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück war für malaysische Verhältnisse gut. Neben Toastbrot gab es auch Omelett und Würstchen. Die meisten Ausflugsziele konnten wir zu Fuß erreichen, sogar die Petronas Towers. Leider ist man im Stadtzentrum nach einem halben Tag mit Besichtigungen fertig. 2 Übernachtungen hätten uns für Kuala Lumpur gereicht.

I had been eying tis hotel for some time but because of the Covid I had to put off any travel for some time. I particularly like the location. I'm glad I finally got to stay here. I had a corner room on the 6th floor away from the lift so there was no exterior noise. The room had muzad piped in which I requested the reception to turn off. The was small but it not a problem as I was alone. It was nicely furnished. There was a water heater and tea and coffee sachets as well as two small pieces if choclolate. There were also two small bottles of water which can be refilled at a water dispenser in the lobby..A small safe but I missed a refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and there were toothbrushes with toothpaste. There was also rwo small tubes of shampoo and bodywash. All the chrome surfaces were wiped clean of fingerprints and smudges.

There was a used tissue on the floor when I checked in. The toilet seater was broken. The room I stayed is without windows so it's a little bit smelly and humid. The location is very good. The metro station is 5-10 mins away.

Perfect for a short vacation
This place is perfect if you just have a few days in Kuala Lumpur. The train station is just a few minutes away and the Central Market is around the corner. The only little downside of this place is the staff which didn’t even manage to say a simple ‘Hello’ or smile once.

Nice stay
The Avenue J Hotel is conveniently located near the centre of KL, both rail and bus services are close by. The Central Market is behind the hotel, great for food and bargain hunting. The hotel has a modern, clean and tidy interior. The rooms are well equipped and functional but have no where to hang or store your clothes. The buffet style breakfast was good, as was the WiFi.
