Fantastic
The apartment is new renovates and well furnished. You have everything that you need, even a little garden with Kois. The host is very friendly and answers immediatly. The pool and the location is also nearly perfect. There are some very nice beaches nearby (only few minutes by car/in walking distance) as well as stores and restaurants. Our familily really enjoyed the stay there very much and we hope we can come back.

Close to shopping and beaches. Nice pool on property. Would suggest renting a car as island has too many beauty features/attractions. Owner has a car available to rent at very reasonable price.

Great Hosts
We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It’s walkable to beach but will take about 15 minutes to get to a sandy beach where you can snorkel. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and the condo is nicely set up and roomy. The pool and hot tub were not heated. The hosts were wonderful, providing lots of recommendations for activities and restaurants,

Great Stay
We just got home from a 10 day stay in this little condo in Poipu. It’s a great location, centrally located in Poipu. Within walking distance to shopping, a drug store, shave ice, and restaurants. The condo has been renovated. It’s clean and comfortable. The beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels were very convenient to have. Washer and dryer in unit makes laundry easy. Parking is a breeze as you pull up right in front of the unit. As others have mentioned, it backs up to a beautiful koi stream and there are bullfrogs that croak most of the night. It wasn’t bothersome, made us feel like we were in the jungle. Add in wild roosters crowing at 5am and you will be waking up pretty early. Wasn’t a problem for us and the host has ear plugs and a sound machine to help, though we didn’t need the ear plugs. Overall great stay.

Love the little Koi pond in the back yard. Lovely sea wind in the evening to keep us cool down. Property was recently remodeled, well-kept and clean. We would not hesitate to rent it again for our next trip.

Spacious and beautiful
This garden view condo is the most spacious one bedroom place we have ever stayed in. The patio faces a small stream with koi and very loud bullfrogs which can be annoying at night. I loved the large bathroom and the shower was luxurious. The complex pool was beautiful and I was usually the only guest using it.

Great Stay
We spent 4 nights around thanksgiving. This is a highly recommended place. We had a comfortable stay for a family of 4. Everything (bedding, storage, facilities, kitchen, parking, and patios) worked as or above our expectations. The binder provided extremely useful information. The location is great, too, as many beaches and excellent food are all just a few steps away. When we come back to Kauai, we will like to return here!

This condo was in an excellent location in Poipu! We were close to shops, restaurants, beaches and entertainment. There was everything you would need in the condo - beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, games, shopping bags,………We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

This place was really nice and perfect for our last weekend in Hawaii! We had a little trouble locating where the key lockbox code had been shared, and the space was a little stuffy without AC - but still very nice. Open windows and ceiling fans were helpful, but a box fan that could move air close to our face would have helped dramatically. I couldn’t figure out how to get the hot tub to turn on, but in fairness, I didn’t reach out to ask about it either. Overall - lovely space in a great area of the island!

beautiful apartment in a great location
Our family of 3 recently spent 3 nights at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is very clean, with very well stocked kitchen (utensils, cookware, etc), and all the beach necessities (umbrella, cooler, chairs, snorkeling gears, boogie board). The host also provided excellent recommendations for places to explore. The apartment is located within a complex that's beautifully landscaped and very close to a few Poipu beaches. Would definitely return!

Great place to stay in Poipu
Our stay at Jayne's place was great! It was in a fabulous location in Poipu, without the ridiculous prices of the beach front resorts. The great beaches are all within 10 minutes of the condo and it's a great starting point for a Waimea Canyon day trip. If your stocking up at a groceries for a long stay, I'd recommending stopping at Safeway in Lihue before heading to the condo as the stores in Poipu and Koloa didn't have everything we needed :) I'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property
This property is amazing! It is very comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. The owners are nice and respond in a timely fashion. Parking was plentiful and all instructions were easy to follow. My children loved the sofa bed. We enjoyed falling asleep to the stream and waking up to the sounds of birds. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to explore the breathtaking island of Kauai!

First time staying on the Poipu/Koloa side of Kauai. Property is clean, comfortable and is located near all the spots (beaches, shops, restaurants) that we wanted to visit. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Booking process went smoothly. Hosts provided detailed and helpful info about the condo and great tips for our stay in the area. The condo included beach gear: chairs, umbrella, coolers. Highly recommend. We would book again for a future visit.

Our first Kauai visit
We loved our condo! It was perfect for us. Loved being on the first floor and everything from parking to cleanliness to size of the condo was great! The owner was super communicative thru the booking process. The only issue was the pool was closed during our visit, but that was not the owner's fault & she was accommodating about it! It was a beautiful pool so when it's up and running again it will be wonderful. Location was great and we'll refer anyone who we hear is going to Kauai to this condo and complex.

Awesome Poipu stay!
We had a great stay in Poipu hosted by James and Mandy. The condo itself is is lovely. Although no AC it wasn’t too hot. The lanai was a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy a morning coffee. The pool was amazing and private. Close to Poipu beach and amenities and stores without being too close to the resorts. We did have one little mishap, there was a flash flood beyond regular standards for Kauai while we were there. Unfortunately water started to run into the unit and flooded the front hall and dining area. About 4” of water. You’d think this would be an issue…but it wasn’t. My wife and I did our best to mitigate the water coming in to the condo and we’re able to clear it out fairly well. Through all of this Mandy and James were in contact with us and we’re able to get their insurance company and housekeeping staff to the condo within an hour. They brought in industrial fans and humidifiers to fully dry everything out. Amazing support from our hosts. They were so thankful for our efforts, and did right by us by refunding one night and our cleaning fee as well. This experience instilled a sense confidence in the vacation rental system, where as we’ve had bad experiences before. James and Mandy are 10/10 hosts and I could not recommend staying in their Poipu condo enough!

Great condo in a great location.
My wife and I spent 5 glorious days in Kauai at Jayne's condo. The condo was very well appointed and immaculate. There was a great little patio in the back that was alongside a stream with beautiful landscaping. The owner responded immediately to the handful of inquiries we had. The location was perfect. Easy walks to restaurants, shops and the beach. Hop in the car and in minutes you are at Shipwreck Beach, the Spouting Horn or any of the Poipu/Koloa sites. Would definatly return.

Tropical paradise!
This first floor condo unit had plenty of space and beautiful grounds! We were able to walk less than five minutes to several good restaurants and shops. We chose to drive to the beach so we could transport the chairs and umbrellas that our host kindly left for us, but you could choose to walk there. It was only about 3/4 of a mile. The pool looked very nice but our weather was too cool to use it so we didn’t try it. We would stay here again if back in the area.

Perfect holiday stay
We really enjoyed ourselves here- it was super spacious, well furnished and crystal clean. The stream and landscaping in the complex felt like you were secluded in nature. You can tell Jayne put a lot of thoughtfulness into making it an enjoyable experience for her guests and it shows. There were lots of goodies for the beach, games, and cooking appliances too. We wished we stayed much longer. If you’re a light sleeper just make sure to bring ear plugs for the local bull frogs in the nearby stream- they are fond of singing all night. Highly recommend!

Updated Gem in Poipu
After looking at multiple properties in the area, we found that they were for the most part either dated and inexpensive or overhauled and very pricey. This property was like Goldilocks! We very much enjoyed our stay here, and found the southern part of the island to offer an endless amount of wonderful activities. We were very happy with our decision to stay here and not on te North or East sides of the island. If you are coming, we highly recommend you rent a car. It would have been a completely different experience had we not had the flexibility to move around. Another huge plus to this property is the free parking. We also appreciated all of the suggestions that we received even before arriving. We love VRBO hosts who are not only invested in you having a great experience at their property, but also a wonderful experience in their area! We would highly recommend this rental!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed the condo. Super clean and well stocked. Great location - close to beaches and restaurants. The weather here is great almost all the time. The only hiccup was the roosters crowing from 3-6am and the bullfrogs croaking all night. I don’t suppose you can avoid the roosters in Hawaii, but the bull frogs added a new layer of sound to the night! What made it bad was no AC, so we had to leave windows open at night, which increased the noise level. We got used to it after a couple of nights though. Just bring your ear plugs.

We loved staying in this beautiful home! It felt secluded with beautiful trees and birds. We loved listening to the birds and bull frogs while sitting on the porch. The only negative is that the bathroom and kitchen had been a little cleaner. We will definitely be visiting again!

Perfect Honeymoon VRBO
Amazing condo in the perfect location! It was perfect for my husband and I for our honeymoon. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need, the bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was clean, spacious and beautiful. You can hear the stream flowing outside and it feels like you’re in a tropical oasis. It’s right around the corner from many shopping centers and minutes away from Starbucks if you didn’t want to make coffee in the morning. There’s a great size tv in the living room for streaming movies/shows. Would definitely choose this place again!

This place is awesome!
Perfect is a one word description of this property. We did not lack anything. We were here during the coronavirus shut down, and the condo. has everything to live in comfortably. I was even able to comfortably work from this condo. on the patio, while listening the the sounds of rain or the stream right in the back yard (this place has all of the "relaxing and calming" sounds that you can imagine). I highly recommend this place, and I would go back any day if given the opportunity!

The pictures online are accurate to what the room actually looks like. Nice location close to the shopping center. Perfewhat me and my wife were looking for a little get away. We would definitely stay here again!

Dream come true
Chose this place for my honeymoon and wow was it amazing. First off the property manager, Jayne, was very responsive and easy to work with. The location is absolutely stunning, our back patio was beautiful looking into a garden area with a little stream filled with koi fish. The condo is located near by several shopping locations, eatery’s and is about a 2 min. drive from Poipu beach. The Mahi Mahi at The Dolphin was some of the best I’ve ever had. We would come back in a heart beat. Kauai will always have a place in our hearts and the accommodations were wonderful! Mahalo
