Welcome to Surf's Up Suite! Our second floor condo with a peek-a-boo ocean view was recently redecorated with relaxing surf and beach vibes, offering the perfect backdrop for creating unforgettable memories and adventures.

After a day at the beach, unwind in the Surf's Up living room, featuring a new AC, a new sofa sleeper, ROKU TV and Wi-Fi.

In the bedroom you'll relax and recharge in style on the plush king bed, while the Kitchen fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals or your favorite drinks. Dine indoors or soak up the tropical ambiance on the lanai.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Surf’s Up Suite @ Kiahuna! Our hosts went above and beyond — always quick to respond and so thoughtful in every detail. We were delighted to find a welcome package waiting for us when we arrived, complete with Hawaiian pancake mix and chocolate-covered macadamia nuts — such a sweet touch! The condo was beautifully equipped with everything we needed for our beach days, from chairs to umbrellas, making our stay effortless and relaxing from start to finish.

Loved our stay here!

We loved staying here! The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. The decor is cute and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great. You’ll love the view of the garden from your lanai. It is a short walk from a great beach and very centrally located to all shopping/ restaurants. The beach gear included was so helpful and we used it everyday. We also took advantage of the athletic club with the pool across the street, which was a nice perk. We would stay here again! Kid Friendly, Sunny Vacation

We love Kauai (married here at Haena beach) and now have 2 kids (3yo, 5 month old) and this stay at poipu was exactly what we were hoping for. 1) Location! Poipu is the sunny part of the island, and we made day trips up to Hanalei Bay and other areas like Kapa’a for a luau. The place is an easy 5 minute walk to a great sandy beach (Kiahuna), and 10ish minute walk to an even friendlier sandy beach (west side of poipu beach point). 2) amenities- my 3yo loved the pool and water slide at the athletic club, and the sandy walk in part of the pool for a nice, non-salt water break. We used the provided chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, and cooler- all of which were key for making beach days comfortable and fun3) comfort- air conditioning worked well, though unit didn’t reach to the room super efficiently there were fans and we slept comfortably in mid July. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliances and such needed for cooking and making coffee4) service- great communication, easy check in even when we landed after the desk closed (clear instructions for next morning check in and overnight code).

Family Vacation

This was our first family trip to Kauai, and it was amazing. There were 4 of us in total (including 2x teenagers) and the property was everything we needed to absolutely feel at home. Very clean property and the location at Kiahuna Plantation is perfect. Walking distance to Kiahuna Beach, and access to restaurants & shops right across the street. The cherry on top was having access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club, also a short walk across the street which has all the amenities you need, including onsite restaurant, huge fitness area and a great pool with a slide. Our daughters loved it. Top notch in my opinion. The unit itself was fantastic. Bedroom was nice and had a very comfy bed. Kitchen seemed to be fully stocked with appliances and utensils/pots & pans and toaster. Dining room was great as we cooked our own food each night and sat down to have dinner as a family. Again, everything you would need to feel settled in for a wonderful vacation. I slept on the sofa bed each night and that was also comfy. TV’s in each room and loved the Roku setup to access all our apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, etc.). They also provided plenty of beach gear in the closet as well as a boogie board & surfboard, which was huge for my daughters to use at the local beach. Waves are perfect for kiddos. Soo many positive things to say about our experience and stay at this property. Don’t see how anybody could have a bad time here. If so, your almost looking for something to complain about, w

We had a wonderful stay at Kiahuna Plantation. The grounds & beach are gorgeous & the condo had everything we needed. We especially loved using the pool across the street. Shaun & Megan were great hosts & always checked in to see if we needed anything.

Unit failed to meet listing description

The location was great.We were disappointed with the unit. The photos made it look better than it was inside...it was not renovated and the original flooring in the kitchen and living room was old and wearing out. From the onset, we were faced with problems. We did address this with the owner right away and some of the problems were rectified. The bathroom sink was plugged and broken. The cook top large element wasn't working. The kitchen faucet and water stopped working. Kitchen cupboards were sticky and one door was off the hinge. The surfboard was missing and despite correspondence, the owner did not replace it. As the closets were full of beach and kids things, there wasn't adequate space for our clothes and no room for our luggage which we had to leave in the dining room.Despite it's rating of sleeps 4, our opinion is that this unit is not even adequate for 2 single people.At the end of our stay, the owner offered us financial compensation for our inconveniences and after 17 days of being home, we have not received the promised amount that was set out in our emails to one another.We spent a lot of time researching properties for our holiday and were prepared to spend more money for the right place and feel that Surf's Up Suite fell short and did not meet our expectations.

Very nice place with very accommodating host

Great place worth 5 star review. The pool is across the street at the club which is a decent walk. Check in is simple, the host responded and resolved the few questions we had immediately. 5 minute walk to the beach is nice with amazing snorkeling close by. We also saw dozens of turtles and 2 monk seals on the beach. Every night we walked to the Sheraton grabbed a few drinks at the bar and watched the sunset.

We had random hot water —often cold water to wash my face at night.Absolutely no pantry items -not even salt and pepper.Also had area rugs on top of the regular rugs that just were a tripping hazard -we finally rolled them up.Also the pool and activity centre was not on the property-it was across the street and down a ways- a car ride away. The property as a whole is a bit dated although the unit itself has been updated in many ways; where it may fall short in some areas it makes up for in the location...location, location, location. It is walking distance to all amenities. The front desk was quick to respond to anything we had asked for and the staff are very friendly.

We loved staying at the outrigger in Po’ipu! Check in was very easy and having access to the Po’ipu beach athletic club across the street really put this condo over the top. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Family Vacation

This condo was perfect for my family of four during our 10 day vacation in Kauai!! Location was perfect, condo is spacious, comfortable and definitely has the island vibe! The host provided everything we needed for beach days - umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The hosts were so responsive and available to answer any questions I had leading up to our trip and even while we were there. They created an app with helpful info about the condo and even great info about the island, super helpful!! We felt very well taken care of….the care package upon arrival was a very special added touch! Next time we are back in Kauai we would definitely love to stay here again.

Amazing stay on Kiahuna beach!

I highly recommend this property! Unit is recently remodeled and very comfortable. The use of beach gear was especially helpful (umbrella, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc). Kiahuna beach is better than Poipu in my opinion-- less rocky and less crowded. Owner was very prompt in communication. On site staff at the resort were great. Surroundings are gorgeous. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation!

Convenient location.Beautiful grounds.Beach right there. Easy check-in. Unit is nicely located with view of lovely landscaped grounds. Unit has pleasing surfer/beach design theme. A/C is quiet and cools all areas. Bed very comfortable and no problems for a bad back. Kitchen is small but functional. A great array of beach equipment is provided (chairs, boogie board, etc.) Misread unit's feature of no installed washer/dryer. Laundromat available on the grounds. There were problems with housekeeping that were quickly resolved by VRBO/owner. Hope observations mentioned to the owner will be corrected before the next guests. Overall the unit was pleasant. Kiahuna Resort is lovely and relaxing.

Nice stay

We stayed in the “surf’s up” suite for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable and the community had plenty of nice amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we ever made it back to the islands.

Amazing property!

Where do we start with our review! We were looking to book a place near the Kiahuna Beach area because we had friends staying at the Sheraton property. This was a last minute trip on our end as we booked this trip Tuesday night for arrival on Thursday. The last minute communication with the property owner was amazing! The room was everything we hoped for our vacation. It was exactly as the pictures made it seem. Such a chic, clean, family-friendly place. We soon realized the room had absolutely everything we needed for a great week vacation. Everything from a wagon to lug all of our beach supplies out to the beach, snorkeling masks and flippers, a beach blanket, beach chairs, beach umbrella and sand toys. It had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen came equipped with pots and pans, cutting boards, cups, plates and even a great toaster oven! The convenience of having a kitchen with everything that we needed made it super easy to be able to get up and make a quick breakfast and pack a light lunch before heading out for our activities for the day. The sofa sleeper was super comfortable and convenient. The size of the room was perfect for a family of four. They also sent over a welcome package the first night we arrived with a few of the Hawaii’s best snacks! That was an unexpected surprise that totally made our stay that much better! Their communication and attention to detail was amazing! We will be back to this property again!
